You had to put captions, didn't you! :p
I had a great time, guys... It was absolutely amazing! Met the coolest people everywhere, and they made travelling alone much easier. :) My favorite city was Berlin, though the smell of a liter of beer at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich is priceless... Prague was beautiful but kind of a mix of old-time beauty and frantic globalization and tourist trap, which made me kinda sad. The south of France, and sailing to St. Tropez and Cannes with my friends was amazing... it's so beautiful, and I could really imagine living there and doing sports and the beach every day. And Amsterdam, what can I say... I have lots more Dance Valley pics and vids I never posted...
I'm in Paris now studying at NYU in Paris and in the U of Paris system. There are great people here, but I don't know many who are gonna go to crazy minimal techno events with me. :p There is actually a "techno parade" here this weekend, wonder wtf that's all about.
Keep in touch guys.... I miss hanging out with you all. :) |

The techno parade will consist of mostly house and the whole gay scene ... but that's pretty much the stereotypical view of it.
I don't know how aware you are of the scene over there but here's a few pointers for Paris:
Techno Import 16 rue des Taillandiers 75011 Paris Metro Bastille Monday>Saturday - 12h>20h
Might be good place to check out flyers for parties ( it's a record shop )
To find out about upcoming events www.lemonsound.com
If you're particurlaly searching for minimal techno go to the Rex! htp://www.rexclub.com/
Good luck with your time over there. And yeah all of Europe is beautiful but you just have to get used to some differences.
I should be spending several weeks in Paris in october ( I'm right next to Switzerland/Germany right now in Alsace ) |
