34 huh? Try looking at women's suits.
I'm only half joking.
I have a good friend that is around 5 foot 4, weighs 135lbs. and has a 27 inch waist. When he bought a motorcycle jacket, he almost had to resort to buying a women's jacket, until he eventually found a men's 37. |

What about black?
If you're only going to own one suit, a black 2-button will never steer you wrong. You can wear it to funerals, you can dress down with an open collar shirt. You can wear it with a tie to a formal. It's versatile. |

Yea, i'm 5'10", 125 lbs. Might find a woman's suit that fits me, but I don't think it would be too flattering on me! |

lol. I think what RJ meant was that having a vest adds versatility to a suit. Not that you have to wear the vest everytime you don the suit.

...So you're talking about wearing the vest without the jacket?! That's even worse. Who wants to look like a blackjack dealer?
There's this guy at my work that seems to have a large collection of vests, and he often wears them with t-shirts. Today he's sporting a brown corduroy vest with a white t-shirt with rolled up sleeves. HELLO?! Corey Haim called! He wants his outfit back! |

!don't forget a good pair of shoes to go with a well-fitting suit!
from what I've read, you're probably much better off getting a made-to-measure suit, than looking for a suit off-the-rack and altering it. alterations cost a fair bit (trust me I know), and it will never look as good.

| no hate....but I wouldn't have thought you were that small. Hell, when I bought a suit for my high school graduation, I was worried about my own suit size, but appartently, a 40 ain't so small. |
