if you're going to own only one suit, it should be a black one.
Generally a solid black, but a light pinstripe is ok...versatile, appropriate for all occasions...business, social, wedding, funeral, etc.

I would still have to disagree with you/agree with margs and say that a black suit is too formal for a first suit. Unless it's patterned in some way.
Edit: just called them but they don't carry suits in my size :(
Probably will still give it a whirl this weekend. |

There's a guy at my work that says he has a white Gucci suit with tails. He also said he wears it with a white top hat and a cane, and on the back of the suit it says PIMP studded with rhinestones.
He keeps telling me that everytime he wears the suit out girls flock to him like white on rice.....But I can't help but think he's talking . |
