| igottaknow's pictures remind me of my cat when he was young, now he's not so playful anymore, but just chills out all the time. i can use a vacuum cleaner around him, and he'll sleep thru it. |

I didn't call her "big mama" for nothing. When we first got her at the pet shelter I thought she was pregnant (with her big tummy). Since that time she gradually lost weight but she always had a passion for eating. Ironically I thought the outside would extend her life by keeping her from snacking all day and give her some exercise. She was such a personable cat its unnaturally quite around the house now. |

Very sorry to hear that man. :( We lost our cat once for 48 hours. I pretty much accepted it was dead and gone since it was very docile and defenseless since it was de-clawed. My girl was so heartbroken she could not eat or sleep the entire time. It was so hard to see her like that. Anyways, I was out smokin a cig and low and behold there he appeared. It was like a dream because you were seeing something you wanted to see so badly and I had to get ahold my myself and go after him. Needless to say we guard him much closer now. Anyways, sorry about your cat. Hopefully it will turn up...

Anyone ever lose a pet? I just lost my cat of five years. I'm pretty sure a wild animal killed her. Been 3 days without a trace totally sucks. I guess if you really love your cat you shouldn't let them out at night no matter how much they cry. :( |
Don't give up hope. Cats go whoring...often. It may come back, unless road kill somewhere. Few wild animals go after cats for food, coyotes as a stretch. Cats are ing independent animals anyway. Yours may have even taken up shop at a new home where someone feeds it. Homey has had the cats before...

day 4 not much hope. There's no trace of her. I know how parents of MIA must feel, hard to get closure. Oh well. |

ooh 3 days is nothing man, mine once ran away for 2 weeks! then she came back.. her upper 'lip' hooked around one of her upper teeth (the big one) .. it went all the way trough, started to rot and all, smelled so bad, bald spot on her back, skinny as , and no feel in the last 5 cm of her tail :(
Never been the same since then, but its going a lot better now (been 5 years, shes 12 now)
Hope yours comes back aswell, don't give up just yet :) |
