| I think people are more focused on Katrina's devastation right now and terrorism has taken a back seat. |

LOL
Seriously, I've had enough of all this 'remember Sept. 11' . Yes it was a tragedy but come on, its been 4 years already and the media is still pumping this crap at us, even with many more important things that are going on in the news. Will anyone remember the 4th year anniversaries of Katrina or the Tsunami (which killed 100x more people and ruined the lives of many more)?????? Sometimes I hate the mainstream US media and its government with a passion. |

It's been over 50 years since the Holocaust and World War II... should we just forget about that? Does anybody still care?
I see where you're coming from dude but seriously, the significance of 9/11 was not just that a few people were killed - it was the first time since Pearl Harbour that Americans were attacked on a mass scale on their own soil.
Katrina may be 100x more devastating and more tragic, but it is also a *natural* disaster. |

A natural disaster sure, but one whose consequences / implications have been amplified due to man-made decisions to locate and build in a ridiculous location where it could be clearly predicted there would be ramifications. |

Sadly true, but hardly unique.
Let's take a few cities in California for example... |
