for starters BPMs (i know some may disagree). also the structure of the beat. |

ok trancemaster. because you're member here, it's safe to assume (as you do) that one should be able to define trance accurately. define it then for all of eternity. henceforth, when someone asks what trance is, we shall point to your definition. well...? |

repitition + engagement = trance
trance is the repetitive stuff that we like :), it is also one of the many fragments of electronic music, you pretty much learn what is what as you listen, you come up with your idea of how a given tune is classified, you talk about it here, others disagree with your classification. There turns out to be no standard way of classifying so that doesnt really mean you are wrong and somebody else is right, everyone will classify stuff a different way.
