Really good track with a very sweet subtle vocal, well written lyrics and some superb production. It's not like a typical anjuna release in terms of energy and uplifting, quite mellow and bleek. Definately worth the listen :)

Smith & Pledger have provided an excellent up beat mix, exactly what the track needed as a compliment to the original. great stuff that makes this a fantastic release all togther.

Now a Maor Levi mix exists which is also pretty decent. Although i prefer his track Lital, this mix follows the same sound and is definately worth a gander. |

Havnt had a chance to listen yet, wasnt it original signed to Lost Language? im sure i saw something from Luminary stating that :) |

| never heard anythig about lost language, although i think the tracks sound would be better suited to that label. Either way i've got this on repeat now and quite frankly it's probably the best lyric/vocal i've heard in recent years. Hope this track does well! |

The first Luminary song, My World was on Lost Language. Then, the second track, Wasting, was on Soundpiercing. This latest track will be out on Anjuna.
Arksun is on a roll these days, with that insane remix of Factoria's Kissed By An Angel, and hit after hit with Luminary. Quality stuff... |

Suprised to see this one go to Anjunabeats over Lost Language. Anjunabeats beats probably thought it would be a big track and scraped their "we're looking for this exact kinda sound" philosophy.

Thank you for the kind words, I'm sorry this one is not to your taste swisstoni.
Very much went for a more stripped down sounding progression to this track as I wanted to accentuate Ashleys voice as much as possible.
Interestingly enough, in terms of structure this is by far the most complex track I've ever made, Luminary, Arksun or otherwise, with the most layers. But most of that complexity is in very subtle layers which, whilst unfortunately may be missed on say laptop speakers and such, I felt I wanted to have that more fidelity sense to it to keep a sense of true artistry in it. Creating a spacial blanket around which Ashleys voice can rise above and dominate, but still keeping a strong driving sub-bassline underneath. If you listen carefully you'll notice how the sounds themselves are part of the meaning of the song with the lyrics, from the sense of distance and driving momentum, to the beeps of a long distance phone call...
This won't be out for a while as the play on TATW was only meant as a teaser, but I hope people will like the full release with the remixe/s when it comes out (hopefully) at the end of this year.

Cheers for the info Arksun, nice to see you on here as well as the anjuna board. Can you give us any info as to what the b-side will be? im presuming there will be a more 'upbeat' remix.

Well the TATW archive is supposed to be a stream than a download and will end tomorrow as the next show starts. As the play was just a taster, that's why the full length rip of the track got removed as it was somewhat more than just a short permanent sampler :)
Regarding the flip... you'll just have to wait and see ;)

Congrats on the other Luminary productions anyway, Andys remix on My World is easily one of my favourite tracks of the past few months. |
