Listen to Tiesto @ Cream Amnesia Essential Mix from July or Aug I think. Its :eyes: but yes I used to be the biggest Tiesto fan but now I would pay more than 25 bucks to see him which is impossible to do:tongue2

What happend to all the talk of having it at Randalls Island or anywhere else.

Randall's island was booked for a hip hop concert with like eminem and g unit or some i dunno. but i think its good that they started there, now next year (if there is one) will be bigger and better (hopefully)

Well it was listed as sold out so there is interest in an event like this in this city. So my guess would be even with the sound problems and all expect an Ultra NY 2006(this from a business perspective)

I'm so sick of Ultra sticking Tenaglia in a ty little tent away from the main crowd. He's ten times better than the e they usually put on the main stage (talking about the Miami event, at least) and they never give him anything to work with. I wasn't at UNYC but from the reviews it seems they've done it again.

Yeah so true. This year in Miami he was in his own tent right on the bay which was nice but rather have him on the main stage. That tent was sick with DJ's I think they had Nic Fancuilli and Demi and a few others not sure but it was bangin. Only problem was my mates who were scared of the gay guys there so we had to leave:whip:

Danny T is a marathon DJ. His Ultra Miami set was 3 hours, which is atypically short for him. His usual sets are 6-12 hours. If you put him on a main stage, he'd be the only one that people would see, which is not the showcasing of talent that Ultra is about. If you want to see him on the main stage, go to one of his own parties, not Ultra. Also, it's not like he doesn't know that he'll be playing in a tent when he signs on to play the gig.

they could still do it at Central Park, but they should use another area of the park where they could set up 3 big stages, this way ppl could have more room to jump around and more ventilation. This would also give them more profit, since im sure there were ppl who couldnt get into the event because of the capacity of ppl rumsey field can accomodate.Just an opinion...........
