i think my problem is similar. all of my friends are out of college so they don't have the same probs i do moneywise and timewise anymore. not only that, but i want to start life now. i want to date girls...i want to look the way i want...i want to have money....i see other people and they seem to be able to do that and it makes me want to do those things even more. maybe i'm just being unrealistic. i just want my life when i'm through with college to be what i want it to be and it's definitely a struggle to make it that... |
i want to do the opposite... i have more money than i know what to do with... i trained myself to live off hardly anythign during college... now it just piles up in the bank... sleeping on the floor and having no TV is a happy life for me... i dont need a fancy car... but i do agree with you on the starting a life with being able to date girls and look the way i want..
i havent been able to date a girl since early 03 (army moved me aroudn too much)... and havent worn any civilan clothes in months... |

| If you are full time in school you shouldnt be paying your loans back yet. Take a deferment on your loans. |

| Thankfully I never did the uni thing, just slowly clambered up the employment ladder, currently on a £20k ($36k) role with clear career path and bright future... consultancy FTW!! |

THREE semesters of 21 credits ?!?
W.O.W. How did it work out for you?!
Now that doesn't make me feel so bad. It IS possible !
I always feel like I just need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow because I'm ALWAYS there. It's gonna be hard for me if I've only been in for a month and already feel this way. :stongue: Oh well. It will be over in 2 months. I can tough it out. And when I look back on it, I'm sure there will be other semesters that make this one feel like a breeze. |
3 semesters @ 21 credits = class mon-thurs 3pm-midnight, lived and worked from home (data entry submission) which comprised of about 4hours of work each day through friday. I found it easy to switch from paid work to school work and vice versa when one or the other became monotonous. I guess you learn to be driven even if ends dont meet with the belief that there is a future of rest...at this point, i can say, unfortunately not! I was so quick to get out of college and into the real world I kinda wish I was back in school. |

well that's awesome if you are happy doing that. i just know that i enjoy too many things and want too many things for myself that i can't afford it on a student's salary hehe. |
