I still have a speeding ticket from the summer that I took to Pointts that has not been resolved yet.....
and today I get ed with another speeding ticket on the way to school.....79 on a 60.
the cop was such a ing dick....I am soooo pissed.
taking this ticket to Pointts I am going to fight it all by myself.
whyyyyyy me???

rule of thumb ... stick to about 14km over the speed limit .. no points and a ty little fine .. most cops wont pull you over for anything under 14km (in most cases .. not all) ..
but your right you can get a speeding ticket in an instant if your not careful or like to speed alot :P |

| If you must speed be smart about it. Be carefule when and where you do it. I'm always looking for potential spots cops could be hiding whenever I drive and it's proved to be quite helpful. |

yeah I am not worried about the points b/c I can at least get 10 knocked off which will only put me at 9 km over.
not like my last ticket which was 77 on a 50 :o
still though...my speeding has decreased tremedously since my ticket in the summer....but still I seem to get FACKED somehow!!
and cops are always s to me....like what the is up with that??? I seriously ing hate them.
and if I do become a massage therapist I will NEVER treat a cop!!!

PoinTTs, or X-Copper. Those places are a waste of money. A lot of them are ex-cops and half the time, they get the fines reduced by using their connections.....And that's what you're paying $500 for?
I've gotten a few tickets in the past, and fought everyone myself, and they always offered me a plea bargain (they won't always offer it to you though). One time, I was doing 130 in a 60 zone, and I had a head on collision with a GMC Jimmy. My brand new 2 month old Civic was written-off, and the Jimmy owner sued me for $150,000, for lowering the quality of enjoyment in his life. I got charged with reckless driving, which was 6 demerit points. I think that's the maximum fine. I showed up to court by myself, and justice of the peace, or crown attorney (I can't remember which one) said "we'll offer you failure to share roadway for 2 dermirt points if you agree to plead guilty to a lesser charge" I said "ok, my mama didn't raise no fool".....So in esssence, my fine of reckless driving and 6 points got dropped to a $40 2 demerit point ticket....And just for showing up.
....As mentioned in here before, you really shouldn't speed. My bike can easily get up to 170kmh within a matter of second on any side street, so I agree, sometimes it is hard to not speed....But you really have to know when to speed and when not to speed. For instance, if you're driving alone and it's 4am and you're the only person on the road, that's clearly the wrong time to speed. On the DVP there are speed traps where cops are most likely to hide, because they can't stop anywhere else.....Otherwise, you should be able to see them creeping up in your rear view mirror. On the 401, there's no place for a cop to safely stop and set up a speed trap, so the only way he can catch you is by creeping up behind you....So keep your eyes on your rear view mirror. If you're going slightly faster than the flow of traffic, you're also less likely to get caught. If you make it really obvious, then you're going to get caught.
