It is obvious the donation was going to be used for profiting in some sort of financial way. There is no way this LP is going down without someone making any money.

I tend to agree with you there.
I still like his music, most people think that if you a great DJ or producer you have no vices and you should be this angel who work for free.

1) 1015/PVD are making money off the parade with the after party. So they are already benefiting from it.
2) It hurts all the under 21 people that like PVD and can't go to 1015 to see him. Also anyone who has no idea who he is won't be able to see him.
Who knows what the ACTUAL reason, the fact is that PVD has been pulled down and put back up several times in the past couple months. My friends work for LPSF and I can confirm that as a fact. |

Well this is interesting...I've now heard that this whole reasoning was on the small side of the issues and the blame is largely in someone else's hands...if you look around, you'll figure it out....
But anyhow, this was just a small piece to the whole puzzle and in the end probably wasn't the deciding factor...
Guess none of the DJs had the final say on the whole pull out. Feel terrible for them.
So, first, I feel a tad stupid by making this sound like thie BIG issue when it was only a part of it...second, guess I should apologize to those that were implicated in causing this whole fiasco....and third, man I must say I feel a bit stupid again...not because that I stated what I heard, but because of how I made it sound like there was only one piece to the puzzle. |

Classy move getting rid of the thread. That was a good idea DaveT. That's the second time I've seen a thread in Music Discussion get pretty heated over misunderstanding and both times it was deleted in the end. |

| I didn't ask for it to be deleted because it was a heated discussion...just that the info in there wasn't completely accurate and it's spreading everywhere and it's the fastest way to at least slow it down. |
