I find that when I do go to most of these big events like LoL, I really can't drink at all. All my body wants
is water because its just way too dehidrated from dancing and heat.

I did go through that whole dry period of not going to clubs for almost 5 months before the summer started.
I guess I was just too frustraited with things like school and family/home issues.

We all have lives outside of parties and clubs and sometimes we have to just face them. For me, it was an issue with what I
just said and with the people I was going out with. They just didnt like trance or any EDM for that matter,
and that became a real problem for me. Music plays such a huge part as to why you go to a club. Yeah there's
the women and the boose, but truley those get boring after a while.

I got into this mood where I didn't want go out at all. Untill one day I said " it", and picked up and
went without them to see Tiesto this summer. That got me back into the swing of things because finally
after so much waiting, I was able to hear some music I actually enjoy.

i wish like some of you guys i'd lose my intrest for clubbing ,but for me it's just opposite, i descided not to go clubbing anymore till new year cause of school, but i realized life would be so boring . what's the point of going to work and school everyday and not going nuts and hardcore atleat once in 2,3 weeks?
I mean we need to release our stress from life in someways right? So i think it's the best to do something to let it go.
and the funny thing is after my desicion about not clubbing till new year, i broke it in 2 weeks ,lol and ya i desided to go and see M.I.K.E. @ viva around 1:30AM all of a sudden, and i enjoyed it though ;)

so Just do w/e you feel like, cause life is too short:nervous:

I can't get enough. I hope I never want to stop going to clubs.

It's all apart of growing up and realising Partying isnt everything.

I have been through the same thing over and over again and it is prefectly normal. I mean I still love to party and some times I party more than other times..it really depends on my priorites.

partying isnt everything... but if you cant let loose at least once a week no matter how old you are, then why bother?

I hate hearing people say "im too old to go out"... even worse when they are in their 20s.

yeah whatever.... why because society tells u you this?

people guilt me all the time about my habits at my age but they cant say anything because i work hard and i have the right to let loose and do what i feel.

The question is, what do you consider "letting loose?"

I'm sure that most of us would love to "let loose" if we could find an enjoyable outlet for doing so. You sound like a broken record, Jay; don't be so smug about the age issue, lest some people interpret that as insecurity. It's got nothing to do with age - some of us are just sick of all the old bull.

well said above :D

I dont consider it partying anymore. To me I'm going out to enjoy something that has become very close to my heart. This music and this scene in general...It is about the friendships i have formed over the last 3 years, it is about forging future relationships and continuing to meet interesting people from all sortsa cultures and backgrounds in an environment that I can relate to them with.

No longer is it a matter of getting trashed on the weekend or pickin up the ladies (it never was with me)...i've always preferred going to parties for their other benefits (music, vibe)

You're saying now that you've picked up DJing, you are bored at clubs because you know exactly what they are doing?

You don't find any enjoyment/inspiration in watching or listening to the best DJs in the world do their thing?

wow.

I like when I get tired of clubbing. A break from anything is good once in awhile. Enjoy it.
