He DOES rock... one of my top 3 :p

That's why I get disappointed when I don't see him enjoying himself and throwing it down. Stuff lately that I've heard starting this summer has been zZZZzzzzZZzzzzz essential mix = 1 example ... oh well I guess it's not the end of the world... I mean look at Oakenfold ... can anyone say "COMEBACK" lol :p

The meat katie loop is at about 10min either loop runs for 30min + The way out west loop is really noticable as it has a very unique drum roll....

i seen him mix without his headphones. lols i don't know i'm not a dj and frost can chime in here, but do DJs ever mix without cueing in the next track or is that talent? I've seen him do it before at twilo, my impression is that it's all skill. i could be wrong..

often he would mix the same records for months on end soo he pretty much knew the tempo and where the next tracks tempo should be... Im sure he could almost just mix from glancing at the meters to make sure he drops the track on beat.. I do believe sasha is skilled enough to do it.... And for some of his long mixes 2min + he made have quickly beat matched them(in 10 sec or less) then just ride the pitche fader out using the live sound to monitor it..

I like Sasha, but wasn't a big Fundacion fan. Also, some of his sets at Crobar lost me for awhile. That said, I'd say he had the most experimental set of the EMs, but definitely not the best. There's at least 5 that I can think of that get more play on my computer at work and my IPod.

Actually using the mixer to mix the songs doesn't require headphones at all, as you have the monitors to guide you...but he had to have used headphones to beatmatch the tracks, which he probably did a few minutes before he actually mixed the song in while you weren't watching.

Sasha and Digweed, Live at MTV New Years Eve
