It's sooo unfair that Bahrain got through against Uzbekistan and I certainly hope that Trindidad wins with a lot of goals when they're playing at home. Bahrain is known for playing very well at home, But when they're playing as guest in other countries, They actually get a lot of problems and so far they've had the luck with them, But honestly, Uzbekistan should've won with at least 3 goals..
Anyways, It does not really matter who will win this battle in their respective countries. It would still be very huge in both countries to take you're national team to the World Cup in Germany for the first time ever.
I think that Uruguay is way better than Australia, They showed it in the Confederations Cup this summer, But I hope it'll be a very close and interesting match. |

Bahrain vs T&T... Well, you know your national team is hurting when Dwight Yorke is still playing for you. Stern John is a bit of dark horse though. Plays for Coventry but got some talent.
I'd say T&T
Would love to see Australia in the tourney, but against Uruguay, nope. Well, depends on whether John Aloisi does well as he did in Confed Cup and players like Viduka and Kewell get their act together. Aussie squad on paper is pretty darn decent. |

| reason I think Australia will come close or even win is , well I know coaches usually dont make much of a difference but having Guus Hiddink in there automatically makes this team even better. I saw their potential in the confed, they just need help on defence and with that tthey could handle Uruguay |

I did not really know that Guus is the headcoach for Australia, That's a manager that I really like ;) |

Their previous coach wasn't bad, I don't think it will make that much of a difference to be honest. The only thing that will seperate these teams is Uruguay's individual talent when it matters. Australia don't have a Recoba nor a Forlan to give them a moment of authentic brilliance when it matters. I saw both the games 4 years ago and really they are technically even.
But hey, knowing international soccer today who knows? |

Who else would have helped South Corea to go that far in WC at home back in 2002. PSV Eindhoven would probably not have gone that far in the CL either last year.
Definetly a very good player ;) |
