Holy frickin guys!! This party was AMAZING!!
Yes...yes I got a little intoxicated...drinks were in' expensive!!
So the night started off a little rough, my crew and I were anxiously awaiting Josh, Laura, Andrea and the rest of the TAs to get to Windsor. At 10 they finally arrive and we're in a scramble to get to the States b/c will call closes at 11 and they have our tickets. My friend Derek and I get dropped off and run up to the bouncer who tells us...sorry it's 11:03 you have to wait in line...I'm thinking, you've got to be kidding me! So we get in line, and I decide this is crap, so I'm gonna go talk to the bouncer...as I do, guess who's walking into the club but Armin Van Buuren...yes he smiled at me :)
We ended up having to grease the bouncer...80 bucks for 7 of us, but who the hell cares. We get in, it's packed! I quickly met Barry - FINALLY, Shelly (?) and Keiko and Josh and I proceeded to the back of the bar to get some drinks and meet up with the rest of our crew.
To make a long story short, I danced the entire night away to Armin banging the beats! Nada...Andrea and I took over the dance floor for ya...your spirit was there for sure!
After they kicked us out, we waited outside for Armin to come out, and we invited him back to one of our friend's houses to party. He said he was going to The Works...so we decided to check it out. We didn't know where it was so we were driving around, and someone was like "this must be it, there's people walking across the street right there" to what Josh replies "that's Armin Van Buuren!"
We get into the Works, and 5 feet in front of us is Armin. I go up to him and ask him if I can have a picture with him. (He also told me he wanted to run away with me hehe) We were there for a little while, chatted it up with the man himself, took a few pictures. It was amazing. Great...GREAT night!!
I took a billion pictures...most of them are stupid drunk ones...but I'll post them all real soon!! |
