All Hail the King!!!!!
Armin is my favourite and every single time I see him he reminds me why, the vibe at an Armin event is like no other!
Even at a club that is small, has a sound system not as good as most of the ones we're used to and that closes at 230 it was still amazing!
At one point Armin climbed up on top of the table where the tables were, on top of the balcony that he was spinning on and started dancing!
Then he leaned back and kept mixing the track, while standing on the table! What a guy.
Started out the night the same way as LOL with Zocalo, I can never get enough of that track. Others that I remembered from the night were...

Man... now i wish i woould have stayed longer to get to meet Armin... i probably would have just been retardedly nervous and not even gone up to him hahaha
great time last night.... the beats were kickin... he played quite a few tracks that were in A State Of Trance episode 213... can't really think of any names at the moment though.. and a few other classics as well
Elevation was pretty good too... didn't get to see his whole set but the most part i heard was pretty good
over all good night... awesome how you guys got to meet Armin... lucky bitches

So the night started off a little rough, my crew and I were anxiously awaiting Josh, Laura, Andrea and the rest of the TAs to get to Windsor. At 10 they finally arrive and we're in a scramble to get to the States b/c will call closes at 11 and they have our tickets. We ended up having to grease the bouncer...80 bucks for 7 of us, but who the hell cares. We get in, it's packed! I quickly met Barry - FINALLY, Shelly (?) and Keiko and Josh and I proceeded to the back of the bar to get some drinks and meet up with the rest of our crew.
To make a long story short, I danced the entire night away to Armin banging the beats! Nada...Andrea and I took over the dance floor for ya...your spirit was there for sure!
After they kicked us out, we waited outside for Armin to come out, and we invited him back to one of our friend's houses to party. He said he was going to The Works...so we decided to check it out. We didn't know where it was so we were driving around, and someone was like "this must be it, there's people walking across the street right there" to what Josh replies "that's Armin Van Buuren!"
We get into the Works, and 5 feet in front of us is Armin. I go up to him and ask him if I can have a picture with him. (He also told me he wanted to run away with me hehe) We were there for a little while, chatted it up with the man himself, took a few pictures. It was amazing. Great...GREAT night!!
I took a billion pictures...most of them are stupid drunk ones...but I'll post them all real soon!! |
OMG, you have no idea! I am actually almost in tears over here for missing this. Dammit, I had to work! Your review, meeting Armin, running away with you! So jealous!!!!! Ahh, so jealous... please provide pics soon so I can weep in my room and rock back and forth in the fetal position...
