this was a totally unexpected night for me. Laura was giving me a ride homne from shopping in kensington, when shes like..hey..come to detroit for armin..so 20 mins later we're on the road.
the night was sooo good. got there to hear the ending of elevation (mike) i'm so impressed with this guy. and so damn young too. armin came on at 12 and the place went beserk. the sound in bleu was brutal (ears were killing) and i affirm my position that drunk americans cannot dance..which was pretty much everyone ;P highlight of the night (as already mentioned) kuffdam and plant "summer dream" (josh made me obsessed). the remix of shivers was kind of disappointing though. the scene was a good change of place..but damn i luv the guv.
we got kicked out shortly after 2, where we headed over to the works, arriving at the same time as armin. kinda nice..20ppl and armin. we stayed till 5 so we could hear KT..who freakin rocks..and his wife is pretty smoking (bring back the blue hair!!)
moment for me..noel sanger dropping tracking treasure down..new G&D song. yea i'm biased..but it was my first time hearing it in the club by another dj..and i went insane!
lisa..laura..love the pics...
and to y'all (josh, barry, lisa (i'm tying a bow on u..yer my present :P, keika and laura..u guys are sooo fun. can't wait till next time) |

| track of the night was whatever remix of cafe del mar, I honestly liked armin better last time he was there. Summerdream should be the track of last year pvd pounded that . SOS was awesome again and without you near doesnt get old. Was a good time still. |

| Definatly agree with Without you near...I love that track...and also Without You (Dogzilla)...they sound so similiar...but both are AMAZING songs!! |

great night for detroit. armin came on at 11:30 which was earlier than expected - usually his sets are exactly 2 hrs, but this time we were treated to 2:45. pretty good set, the highlights for me were Zocalo to start, the U2 remix, Shivers, Summerdream (i think i ran over a few people while rushing to the dance floor from the balcony for this) and Without You Near (which i cant help singing along too). PvD has been playing Summerdream for over a year, so it was really good to see armin drop it.
great to finally meet Lisa and some other windsor TAs. it was also cool to see armin at the works after his set. would have liked to stay longer but the drive back to ann arbor was becoming more unappealing by the minute.
only issue i had was paying so much for drinks especially after $30 cover. |

first of all he 100% played dozilla-without u
and second of all, yes he did play without you near, but that sounds nothing like dogzilla!!!!
