that was my 7th time seeing him live(montreal, toronto, and miami 5 times) and it was not a great performance. i thought the man had it together when i saw him at labour of love in september...that was a really special set....but friday was not even close...i never got "lost" in the music like a good trance set always seems to do... the flow just wasnt there imo.....no encore? wtf is that. thats the first time ive ever seen him do that. i expected more from his space debut....i know he had been wanting to play the club since 2003 but could never get booked. i thought he would throw down a killer set....but he didnt. maybe next time.......all you jokers who think that was amazo----please come out dec 10 for a reality check

well i think we all were expecting a bit worse. i heard his labour of love set and i totally agree about the encore thing. armin doesn't beat Blank n Jones set the week before but considering how boring Armin usually is... his set at space wasn't and i'm glad.

As for Armin's set. I didnt hear he's Labour of Love set, but he's livesets are always flufly and alright to me. Nothing great to tbh. He's Ultra set was alright, so was the opium set he did the one time he came. I would have always chosen Tiesto and Ferry over he's sets any time, any day. The only thing that really blows the mind away are he's ASOT, but thats not him on livesets. But I didnt find that to be the case on Space. I thought he threw down great tracks, a great set, and a great vibe. No encore was a surprise though.. but I dont know, thats just my opinion on the few times Ive seen him and livesets of him that Ive heard.

Consider yourself spared some agony. Took like an hour to pick up. Way too slow. I'd gone to sleep by the time he finally got some serious juice going.

At least this night at Space was so unlike that. If I enjoyed it totally sober, than it HAD to be good. ;)
