his set was so predictable, you could almost guess what was coming next. funny thing the two tracks i really liked, that were real hi-nrg and uplifting. me and rach both looked at eachother and said this is so tiesto! both thinking that the set was going to take off from there kinda like tiesto's sets do, start off a little slow than like an hour into it, bam, here comes the madness, but with armin it never came for me, in fact it was only those two tracks and the set just kinda of flatlined, i was shocked. it always interesting how peoples points of view can be so different, lol...:p
anyways super pumped for tiesto in detroit for thanksgiving, and MY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR FERRY AT SPACE on DEC10!!!! |

Hey Trancebrat! After the Armin show, Brian and I were sitting on the porch of the resort we were staying at on South Beach, still celebrating my birthday at like 8 or 9am. We got in a conversation about how we had been extremely lucky all day and night; the resort gave us a 2 bedroom/2 bath when we paid for one (so Thomas didnt have to sleep on the couch!), getting on Armin's g'list and walking right in, etc etc. Just then, a silver beetle flew on Brian's shoe... and it hung out with us all night. The weird thing is that my mom, who is Japanese, told me a long time ago that to find a silver beetle is considered lucky. It did occur to me earlier in the day that it felt like my mom had been watching over me from heaven. Coincidence??? Hmmm....

This is what happens when Armin plays in San Francisco. You get Dave Dresden trying to make out with you...ugh! lol..
Anyhow, being born and raised as a Floridian, I really need to in check out Space at some point. Work is far too busy for me in March to go to WMC, but maybe if I get lucky someone big will be playing at Space while I'm in Florida in late December and make it worth driving down to Miami from Orlando.
Anyhow, just for the hell of it, here's some pics of Armin in SF back on October 9th.

Funny that he opened up with Zocalo on this night and 2 weeks ago in NY/Miami he did the same. :stongue: |
