kicking myself for not going
I bailed out the last minute- decided to be adult and go to work on monday morning instead- why oh why????
I knew at ~3 am how big of mistake that was when I got a text message from Tyler simply saying "WOW" - thx Tyler! next time I will come for sure!

Great nite, thanks for the comp scot, i should have the audio uploaded soon, its in the process of uploading on yousendit.com right now! i'll post the link when its done (goes from 11-to about 4:40)
dennis hahn was ripping when i walked in, damn that guy plays the goods...on a different nite i may of enjoyed jelo's set, but i came for melodic trance and wasn't in the mood to dance to his blend of progressive/techno.
i totally called thrillseekers would start with 'thrillseekers - by your side' hes been promoting that song like nuts, and has that at the beginning of the last 3 sets i heard by him, great tune though, definatelly happy we got to hear it as the opener! so many great tunes, i'm happy i went, great time and i'm looking forward to listening to it again! now some last minute reviews for my midterm at 1:30 :eek:

What a great set. Man the T.A's were ripping the out of the dance floor. Steve was just dropping bombs i could not dance anylonger so i left at 5am. Glad to see you all had fun. Till next time.

First of all I would like to apologise for the text messages. Will never happen again :) i r sorry.
Secondly i would like to say that Thrillseekers just climbed into the the Top 5 parties of the year for me. Steve came on stage and i was like here you go pplz ... here comes By Your Side and Times Goes By back to back. Me and Drew freaking losted it on the dance floor.
Amazing night. Crowd was awesome last night. It wasnt packed at all and everyone was dancing even the bouncers were walking around moving their head and singing along to some of the tunes lolz. Putting the decks in the middle of the stage and not the dj booth at Republik is an awesome idea. Congrats to whoever decided on it. Dennis bro great set, was loving it when you dropped Mojado - Senorita . Jelo played some sick ass beats as well, perfect opening for Steve. Steve got on at about 2 AM and right from the start it was fantastic. Some of tunes that i can think of right now were By your side ... Time goes by ... Born Slippy ... Sublime ... Adagio For Strings ... Synaesthesia and many more.
Thnx to all the TAs riping it up on the dance floor. You all made the night that much more fun. Yall roxX. Thnx to Drew and Dannie, it was good times and thnx for ride home :). My legs are killing me and i have losted me voice. All worth it tho. So who has a decent copy of the set from last night. I wants it plz and thankyou :D Se yaal at Andy Moor ... another ass kickin in its making :) |

THrillseekers had me dancing HARD:tongue3
I got there at 11:15 and enjoyed Dennis' set until Jelo (whom i LOVE to death) spun 2 hours of house:( ...I was expecting trance ALL nite and he kinda killed the transition...Too bad Walter didn't throw down a set to warm up the crowd for Thrillseekers...ANyway when he came on I danced my ASS off for 2 hours & went ballistic with all the classic trance that he dropped:crazy:...LOVED hearing classic trance with that sound system especially "Born Slippy"....very niiiice :D
ANyway it was great to see alot of TAs out last nite...It was great to meet some new ones like Roman (aka Superstring...I think thats his TA name) and IrishAddict;) ...The rest of the crowd was pretty kewl but I wish that some of these Asian wouldn't bring out the sketchy parents to party:wtf:
ANyway I left around 4am so that I can be somewhat awake for work
PS: I heard that this set was recorded for a later download...if this is true PLEASE let us know when it is available...thanx ;) |
