Steve > Armin, hands down.
And now, for some humour :)

Wow, what a night - so glad I didn't bail like some of my friends *cough* MarkT *cough*.

but I was there in spirit (and via the constant text msgs, lol)
caught 90% of the set online at home...thanks to SJIRadio for that!)...some serious tunes. Perhaps the only others I'd put on the same level in terms of delivering a great set of uplifting trance would be Rank 1 and Scott Bond.
disappointed I missed it...but today my body and mind are thanking me ;) |

What a crazy event. Like I said on the mic, I can't put Jelo's set into words. Thrill Seekers were amazing as well, but I think our home-town heros were definitley flying high last night! Big thanks to everyone that tuned in :) The entire set will be available for download shortly!
As for our video problems, we have the proper cables now, and this will NOT be a problem next time :) |

One of the things I love about Toronto is getting a chance to see the dj's who aren't the Tiesto's of the world. What I mean is the ones who are sort of right behind them on the world scale.
Sometimes those shows end up being the best ones!
And last night was no exception.
I think that the thrillseekers put on a great show last night. Epic trance. Tons of tracks I had never heard before, and it was great to hear so many of his own productions. Particularly Synaesthesia, I love that track, what a moment!
Republik on a sunday is a wicked time out, tons of room to dance, a good crowd and the location of the dj booth is awesome!
I'm happy to have changed my mind and decided to come.
Great to see everyone out! |

Jelo wiped the floor with the thrillseekers. Definately a far superior set IMO.
Dennis Hahn played a nice opening set. Perfect pace for the beginning of the night.
As for the Thrillseekers? Well Danny D called, he wants his CD book back!
LOL
It was great seeing a lot of you guys again. I had a great time as always! |
