As Mike noticed during last night, at around 4AM, just as Thrillseekers was finishing up, I did throw my shoulder. Next couple of weeks I'll be fist-pumping with my left hand only :mad:

What an incredible night.. i can't believe how hard helstrip was playing towards the end.. it was amazing, nothing like what i expected. Like usual republik is amazing every sunday night. Heres a list of the tracks i could remember.. well actually it was mostly my friend.. i was way too drunk to remember much lol...

completely unnecessary comment. jay, instead of posting such stupidity, can you just come to terms that this is a TRANCE event, and ppl came to hear TRANCE a la the style of thrillseekers, and thats what we got, we didn't get a set that was anything any fans of thrillseekers wouldn't of expected. just because u had to work doing the lights and thrillseekers wasn't your thing, doesn't mean it wasn't a good event, everyone who wanted melodic trance had a great time. to me jelo seemed out of place becuase i was in the mood for trance all nite and kinda killed the vibe for me, but put on a different scenario, and make it a prog house nite and i woulda been into it a lot more if thats the type of nite i had planned to go out for.
btw. use the wall lights more, they look so nice but they're not on enough, i know you don't want to abuse them, but a little more use of them on breakdowns wouldn't hurt. |

I didnt expect anyone to agree with it nor do i care if they do.
But yeah the wall lights arent used very much on sunday nights since the idea is to keep an underground feel to the club and those lights light up the room like a christmas tree.
But yeah they do look cool i agree. |

well you're entitled to your opinion, but my point is i don't think its a very fair assessment since you're not a fan of steve's style. obviously if i had a job working at a 50cent concert, or something along those lines, i'd right a biased review on how it sucked cuase i don't like hip hop. |

Hey, for those that went there:
On what song did the Thrillseekers finish?
I ripped most of their set, but the software broke it up kinda weird - into two parts, one before 4am, and one after. The thing is, Adagio For Strings is in the second half...
Oh, and who spun after Thrillseekers? (I know it's in the rollcall, but without the search, it's takes a while to find).
I'll most likely upload what I ripped later (after I tag it properly, etc.) if there's enough demand for it.
Edit: nm, figured it out. The style shift from Thrillseekers to Deko-Ze is quite obvious. Plus, the loud, annoying announcer helped too. :p |

I had a good time last night.. thanks to everyone who came out early to hear me play I really appreciate it!! I'm glad people seemed to enjoy it ;)
Sorry I had to leave early, was ABSOLUTELY bushed from the busy weekend I had... I'm looking forward to getting out a little more often now that wedding season is done! |

after getting home around 5 then waking up at 6 for a 8am class...i realized...it was sooo very much worth it. It was amazing seeing everyone there...the atmosphere was perfect...the crowd was the best ever. i'm still a bit hazy ... [lack of sleep] but i thought a lil dannie review post was necessary.

Onwards thrillseekers....kiiiilllled me.
i heard every song i had ever dreamed of hearing....plus extra bonus sikkk tracks. i didnt want to stop dancing...hahaaa...my body is mad at me for lastnight... i wana dance more just to spite it...and get sick...nah.
recently i've been having asthma attacks...after events and [in this case] during. I don't know why...maybe because i don't breathe enough when i'm dancing or iono...so i think i'll be getting a puffer soon...caus not be able to breathe sucks...especially when you want to scream/sing your heart out.
coffee was amazing this morning...never tasted better...still fell asleep 4 times during my last lecture. oops! |
