good for them, bad for their dad. North American society ducks and hides at the sheer arogance and confidance of european society.
we've got BET, asian television networks, south asian news and Al jezera (sp) so there is nothing wrong with white nationalsism....or the shared joy in the community of the white folk. It is unfortunate that words like nazi and racism have to be intertwined in the conversation. Because I love my white self and I don;t concer myself with the dark clouds that happen to cast a shadow on my world.
I wonder if their music sucks though. |

they have just been misguided by their rents.

There's barely a modicum of factual information in that article - just a lot of emotionally-charged rhetoric and loaded words like "racist".
Racism is a belief in the superiority of a particular race. In the one snippet of song lyrics they published, which was presumably the most powerful example they could find, the evidence of such a belief is *at best* inconclusive and debatable.
The only comment that actually made any sense was the comparison of these lyrics to gangsta rap. Regardless of this writer's incredibly transparent attempt to wave off that analogy, it's essentially what the music is. It may be stupid, and it may be in poor taste, but it's protected by freedom of speech and certainly is NOT spreading "hate" (where does it say anything about blacks, such that the NAACP needs to get on their case about it?).
Frankly, even though I don't agree with their message, I'm glad to see that some artists out there aren't petrified of offending the delicate sensibilities of liberal airheads sensitivity-trained into a coma.
The only thing about this whole issue that truly reflects the "sorry state of the world" is the fact that some journalists actually consider these things newsworthy. |

| I just dont get the points some of you are trying to make...it is just un fukkin real...again, nothing wrong being proud to be white or whatever...but love for Hitler, Nazi dictums, etc..this is just too much..i think your people try over analyzing this stuff and try to put some pseudo intellectual face on. |

I cannot make comment with regard to these two particular persons or their song lyrics as I really have little to no knowledge of them. That said, I think your stateing that having a fondness for Hitler or Nazi Party policies is objectively negative shows a great deal of ingorance toward both Hitler and Nazism. Granted Hitler was a racist and that came through in his politics, however, he and the Nazi party were also amongst the most socially minded and forward thinking political movements in the history of modern nation states. Much of what the Nazi party did as far as a social welfare system has since been adopted by nation states (including this one) around the world.... for instance... national health care (all industrialized nations), social security (most industrialized nations), govenment mediated labour relations (Sweden, France, Norway, Findland, and to a lesser extend UK and Canada), Corporatist economic structure (EU), government funded and maintained infrastructure (roads, power generation, communications networks - all G8 nations except the US), and far too many more social advances to list. Certainly, there were less then admirable motives for some of these (like the autobans which were constructed almost exclusively for the purposes of moving troops and equipment) and some of these systems were only availible for Germans (according to the Nazi definition - persons born with germanic blood) but you cannot completely write them off as evil due to motive. Despite all the contempt for persons that didn't fit with the eugenic wants of the Nazi party one must still recognize that they were likely the most responsible and socialist government (up to that time) for their citizens (again according to Nazi definition - Germans). |

Yeah... this was pretty crazy to read... but i have to say it really didn't phase me very much.. there is tons of this stuff going on in the world...everywhere you go... i have a feeling that just becasue these girls happen to be of German decent is whats making ppl so worked up about it due to all of that history involved with Hitler and such...
and while i think it it awful and clearly wrong i have to agree with some of the ppl giving their two cents in here...
any kind of supremacy is wrong.. be it from any race or culture.. its wrong either way.. there is a thin line between supremacy and empowerment.... and while i beleve its great for for ppl to be proud of their race.. its quite another to feel superior to someone else because of their colour of skin

The dad with the swastika for a belt buckle is a little over the top.
As for the girls singing about being white. Not a damn thing wrong with that. Black people can sing about how they are proud of being black, listen to Public Enemy, Tribe Called Quest, Nas. They have their own video channel. And for some reason if someone says that they are proud of being white they are automatically labelled racist. Being proud of being white does not necessarily mean that you wish to destroy all who are not like you, it just means that you are comfortable within your skin and that you are proud of your roots and many North Americans are most deffinetly NOT.
Westerners are too politically correct, this is not a good thing because it leads to pointless tiptoeing around touchy issues. In Europe and even European communities over here, people are a little more open minded. |

Personally, I don't find that it affects me so much. Again, it's a point of view others have pointed out on this board before, but there seems to be too much of a double standard in our society, and no one ever seems to balk at the cultural preservation of any other ethnicity, other than white.
I do find it stupid and immoral that white culture is, in this instance particularily, associated with Nazism, and so forth, but other than that stupidity, which is something oft found, I see nothing wrong with what they are doing. |

Everyone seems to be getting really worked up about this whole "racist" propaganda that those girls are spreading.
But there are BIGGER ing issues in this world then 2 little girls spreading bull lies!
How about the fact that there is enough food in America to feed the entire world, yet every year 15 million children die of hunger.
How about the 3 billion people who have to live on less then $2(US) a day.
In England, hotels, restaurants, the health service and other providers of goods and services are legally allowed to discriminate against lesbian and gay people. Its even worst in America.
All im saying is.. there are bigger issues in this world to deal with. Your own government is robbing you blind, yet everyone is getting more pissed off at 2 little girls for making ty music. |
