| Hey guys, I've had nine pro fights, I've fought on the same shows as a bunch of the tuf guys, fought Melvin, he's one tough hombre. I love to fight though, there is not to much you can do legally that is that much fun. If you guys are in the boston area or Atlanta you should come out and watch me get beat up sometime.:thepirate |

i'm confused of Pride's status in california. Sakakibara is always saying that the talks are goig great and that they are in the final stages of planning the event. However, every Cal Athletic State Commission indicates that they have rejected pride's rules.
Sakakibara seems to hold graet *pride* for his rules and wants them to be the international rules of fighting. namely, stomps and the 20 minute fight (1 10 minute round and 2 5 minute round).
edit:
o yes. and the biggest rumor is that Pride wants their first US event to have the main event of Sakuraba vs. Frank Shamrock |

| I have heard that talks are underway as well, I do know that there will not ever be stomps or kicks to downed opponents heads allowed i the us again in any major promotions. I have a big problem with rings as well, because of falling out of them, or having to restart all the time becasue your tangled upp in the ropes, the cage is much safer for the fighter and it also brings a certain flair to the fights.:disbelief |

"The Ultimate Fighter 2" Finale Live on Spike TV
Rashad Evans became the first heavyweight to advance to The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Finale as he broke open a close fight with Keith Jardine in the third round en route to a unanimous decision victory. Scores were 29-28 across the board for Evans, who will face the winner of the other heavyweight semi-final between Brad Imes and Seth Petruzelli on The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Finale, Live on Spike TV on Saturday, November 5th in Las Vegas.

So yea, my thoughts. Overall a pretty sweet fight, Jardine would've won the battle standing but as soon as it went to the ground in any round Evans dominated. Evans opened up a nice cut on Jardine's right eye and when you saw blood pouring from his face, you knew the decision would rule in Rishad's favor. Overall a great fight! |

Do you know of any MMA gym's in the NYC area? I know Rico is from NYC (Staten Island) but I think he might have moved out to Cali to train with Tito. |
