I agree with Floorfiller from what I've seen of Dave Dresden behavior on these boards he's was arrogant prick. DRM's comment is also true about mob mentality but as I've said David deserved it. He's also over sensitive. The jokes were quite mild.
If his sole reason to visit TA was to have intelligent discussion about music then why the hell was he posting in the COR? Why did he care what we immature idiots think about him? If he wanted to have normal convo about music he could have posted under another name, but his whole purpose is to have his ego stroked and to talk about his music. Maybe he can't take being equals on a message board where you get as much respect as you earn. Poor Dave looks like he hasn't earned any.
I'm not going to say good job CORe or I'm glad he leaving. He has as much right as anyother member to be left alone if he really want to be a contributing member of the board. TA isn't for DJ/Producers to conduct their business related activities. Create your own message board if you only want to have a one way discussion with your fawning fan base (if it exists). |

when did dave ever post on here other than to promote some single or album that he was working on? he used the site only to promote himself and his gigs. then he came in here and started attacking a member of the CORe by saying things that would have gotten anyone else banned. the only reason that dave posted in threads is if they came up when he searched for his name. dave brought this on himself.
there are plenty of respectable members of the industry that post on TA such as: James Zabiela, Max Graham, and Noel Sanger. |
