I'd be the first to admit I don't know the full history but I've seen enuff of him to know what he's about. Its funny to see a bunch of brown nosing gimps with a sudden case of hero complex jumping in to defend him. Dresden leaves a bad taste in my mouth and that not because i sucked his cox. :nervous: :stongue: He can use some other site to soothing his ego and promote himself. |

well, i have to say i never expected it to become such a huge all-out bonfire on various forums on TA. a lot of people here know me personally and i'm never one to start any drama on boards or real life-- i dont have 'internet muscles'. what u see is what u get and many people have met me and literally have said "you're precisely how you are when you chat on AIM/post on TA/etc." i just like to have fun and this time i guess it went too far?
the only thing i'll admit to being wrong about is hastily posting his s/n. but, as my original post stated, i posted it because i thought that me being pwned by dave was just truly hilarious and honestly did not think of such dire consequences since he openly gives out his screenames to many of the people on here. furthermore, many ppl post convos between themselves and others on the internet but bc it's some sort of "public figure" then all of the sudden it's a big no-no? i didn't give out the guy's home address or something. and he has other screenames which i'm familiar with as well. but, if that was truly the only wrong thing that i did, then of course i'd rail that person out for it too, since, well, i'm wrong and i deserve to know it and thoroughly be blasted for it. :toothless
all in all, i think this entire situation it was actually a trigger for something else to occur- my original thread was just a symptom of the problem, which was (apparently) dave's general behavior, which from what i saw, is less than humble on these boards. needless to say, it is very helpful of him to post on tracklistings and answer fan questions. in the same regard, his leaving will not really change anything and any other artist should take this an example that people should not take things seriously on the internet-- and to beware, since anything you say/post can be used against you at any time as we just saw with my original post (usually with a side of detrimental affects to the Search :haha: ).
i have no ill-will towards dave as a person or anything of the sort. but imo, dave really didn't have to post the "special thread", further propelling the situation.. but hey, i guess it is a sort of his passive aggressive 'revenge' in the form of a goodbye thread (which in turn makes him just as immature as we apparently are- the difference is that we're just having fun and everyone else is taking it way too seriously)... but i'm sure he will continue to read the forums if not still post on it, as i'm sure he will see this thread as well (after breaking the Search again. :p ) but, as he has openly said before, any publicity is good publicity for g&d. best of luck to both of them!! :D |

see daniela this isn't even about you posting his screen name. that's just become the excuse...which i'm sure wasn't even a thought that crossed your mind when you posted the convo...
first off anyone that starts sending dave messages to joke around has too much time on their hands.
but all of the clues to why we don't like dave is right there in your MSN convo...
he messages you basically saying...well it's good you're a nobody and your oppinion doesn't matter
then he goes and classes an entire genre because it's different than what he does...
and then he whines about other people being childish...
i mean really that sums it up right there. |

This person finds odd that dave made a such big deal out of this thing because he is a public figur. ( i must say it has been 2 weeks since i visited this board so i have no clue what happend , just reading few topics.)
However i quoted the sentence from Jason because.Because dave is a public figur people tend to msg him often. People will try to be his *friend* for whatever reason that is.
Now usually a public figur wouldn't even respond. Take tiesto. anyone ever had an email answer by him? i bet not. But Dave obviously did respond to that msn convo , there for he is NO public figur.
it's like math, you must figur stuff out
So i blame LuNaSeA for whatever has happend
