Who else thinks Dave has broken his promise about 20 times today already eager to see just what reactions he got on this *sob*cry* leaving speech? :D
Regardless to whether the whole issue is followed here from start to finish, it only takes rational thinking and some common sense to see his 'goodbye' post is nothing more than attention seeking.
Because it is 'dave dresden' why do we have to make a fuss about it?
Isnt that exactly what he wants? That his inflated ego thinks we'll be all sorry and pitiful now cos he burnt his fingers on TA.
Sorry Dave, you really don't matter that much. |

I agree with you on this one. That's one of the reasons why other famous TA members rarely post. If I was well known producer and I get flamed day in and day out, it gets pretty discouraging to post about anything at all because there's always that one bad apple(s). Even if it is a joke there comes a point in time where the joke has to end and is simply not funny anymore. Of course not everyone is expected to love all their music and not everything they produce is excellent, but if they don't ask you for their opinion why bother bash on their material/work. I'm sure 17 pages of foolishness in the Music Discussion is another big reason he left. I think Coup the moderator put it best:
