Wanted to thank everyone who made it out this past weekend. Having access to the entire Docks complex allowed us to create a lot more room to dance for all styles even though it was our biggest crowd to we've had at that venue in the past year - almost 3k! Big shout out solid headliners and everyone who made this event possible.
Happy Halloween!

Had so much fun at this party... The music was insane! I received a text message at 6 am (real time 5 am) telling me I had an invite to the Lawler after party at the Guv, so I left shortly after that and didn't get to see preach. I heard he was great.
I loved how there was space to really kick it up on the dance floor!
Nice to meet some of the few TA's that came out to this one. To everyone else...you missed out...I saw the Guv at 6 am and it was insane busy and the drunken bar stars were outta control...
Next time we should all take over the Destiny/Temporal Rhythm party and party it up properly...
 |

a special thanks goes out to swamper and killah monkey for the night.
woot! |
Yeah Jay remember...you met Sean in the Smirnoff room just before we left it? He came up to you and introduced himself... I know it is hard to put TA names with real faces and names.... I have a hard time with that too :) |

You all are so excited about preach like he is a jesus or something.
He is just another good techno dj, not more. |

im guessing you are making more comments about dj's without ever eally seeing them.oh well your loss. The man can make people dance in an era dominated by breakdowns that last forever.Dancing to a breakdown is like
getting kicked in the nuts...its painful and not worth attemptimg.
PS...Your Parties finish so early!:p |

Eventually it was time for Preach, and after all the hype, I was expecting something out of this world from him. Didn't happen. His set was good, better than good even, but he's definitely not the second coming of Techno. Jelo > Preach. |
Jelo and Preach have totally different styles IMO. |

VERY impressed..wow. |

| sorry but saying there are no long breakdowns in trance is like saying there is no flower in bread. |

What in particular was hard for you to understand? |
Nothing on my end.
I dont see where anyone is making him out to be a god- u are reading into things too much. Besides, why does it bother you if they do anyways? Far less talented dj's are put on pedastels every day. |

I dunno man if you love preach im not saying anything. He is good. I dont think that is THAT good tho. and this is just MO |
There is a significant amount of pride and support that comes from this board towards Preach - you have to keep it in context. He was a resident at one of the country's top clubs when he was 19. He has produced on almost all major techno labels around the world and is now spending almost all of his time playing overseas. As far as the MTL TAs are concerned, he's a local hero and success story. |

| All i can say is i got him for at least 5 hours on friday and it was insane. His Deck skills are better than any dj in the top 10 this year.No final scratch or abbleton with him.He doesnt only make you move with his track selection but with his techniques and signature buildups. The man always has 2 tracks spinning at the same time. |

Uh, I wouldn't say he's superior to Carl Cox. I don't even think HE would say he's better than Carl. |
