And what, pre-tell, is wrong with Final Scratch? I'm pretty sure using final scratch vs. a DJ who uses vinyl/CD's is no different...

im not saying there is anything wrong with final scratch, I just think good turntablists are becoming rarer and rarer.I respect those using final scratch, but being able to get tricky with vinyl is something of a
higher quality IMO. |

I drove all the way to Montreal to see him cuz he is good.. there is nothing wrong with that.. and yes.. I would have only gone to the destiny party to see him and Jelo as well.. I don't think there is anything wrong with that either... It is a matter of personal preference I guess.. but Preach does rock.. and happens to be my favourite dj.. so why the hell not.. I had the best time in Montreal and hearing him for 5 hours was much better than only 1 :D |

I gotta be honest I read all your other posts and was close to responding but nothing struck me as really worth while till I read this gem. Hernan is wikkid and while he may not be one of the most popular dj's on this side of the ocean in Europe hes Huge. That's why hes ranked so high in the list but you can have your own opinion too which is fine. |

Preach is so young and soooooo talented!!!! Only up for this guy!
listening to him mix blew my mind. Ive been trying to spin techno for a while now, and Preach is ing mindblowing. His signature style builds into a ing bomb.
Ok you dont like him, but trust me, he is put on a pedistal because he belongs there. In a few years he will be a leader in techno you'll see!
just listen to his relic promo. (and really listen to it) remarkable!
I wish toronto could have a killer local that had intenational promise. You gotta love the MTL faithful for loving this guy!

Basically you know im right...you said Hernan is the worst, when infact tiestor is the worst in the top 10. If you believe that the date you registered has anything to do with n00bishness, than you're just plan wrong. Someone could be registered for one day and they could be less of a n00b than you. |

dude...i respect the points you are trying to make but im having trouble
believing what you say.You are only 17 so I doubt you had the chance to see many of the DJ's us older members have.Its one thing to critique a cd or whatnot, but the true defining factor of how good a dj is has got to be how he performs live.(for too many reasons to list.)I am certain you have never seen Preach or Hernan spin.(They dont do high schools :thepirate ) |
