| Yeah, i'd forget the whole fake id thing. There are going to be more cops than usual and you run the risk of being turned over to them if you get caught with a fake. I mean, if I were the owner of Roxy I'd tell all my idiot boucers to send any people with fakes to the cops to show them we're being lawful now. |

Radio1's party is at Crobar the same night. But i think thats 21+ too haha damn I feel bad for the youngins! I mean I'm not going to stop ya, you might even get in you know, just saying that central bookings in manhattan (in chinatown by canal st - don't ask why I know this) isn't all the great. Plus they turn the AC on even in the winter because it helps keep the bacteria count down. It's not the best place to be but they let you smoke cigs in there, that is if you were able to sneak them in.
As for plans, they always change, keep your options open man, you might to make some last minute moves. Better be prepared rather than standing on the corner figuring out what to do. |

werd? Crobar ALWAYS scans IDs for birthdate and authenticity. they put the id through that scanner. They care about that more than the actual face on the id. Ive had tons of friends use their friends ids to get in. as long as there is a birthdate that says you are over 21. |

| ahhhh. Made Event just posted in the PVD thread, and said that everything is going on as planned. I am really very skeptical now as to what I should do. Hopefully Made Event will tell us everything was a big rumor! |

If he went to Crobar on 18+ nights, they may not scan the IDs of the 18-20 year olds. |

I don't think that the party that got cut short on Saturday night that prompted this whole debate was a rumor. What matters is the sort headway that has been made with the officials since then. If progress is being made with negotiations, then they don't want to alarm anyone, as it would hurt ticket sales.

| I remember some time ago about 4 years I think it was labor day weekend when we came to New York to go to Exit and we had bought tickets and then when we got to the club, they handed everyone a flyer on how the venue had moved to the Bronx. If I remember correctly I think the mayor at that time shut the club down. Boy, were we dissapointed. I hope Made Event is right about next week. Because there will def be alot of very pissed off people. Me included. It was suppose to be my Wedding Night. |

hmmm...
well, I've been neglectful in checking up on my tranceaddict forum, so this is all new to me. I truly hope that the 4am story isn't true as it is way too early for me to shut down after driving so far. As far as the 21+ thing goes (sorry kids) fine by me...
However, I am worried that this whole situation (busts, worries about underage kids getting in, extra cops, etc.) will throw a large negative vibe on the whole night.
I plan to drive up from Baltimore on Friday night (after I get out of work), and that plan hasn't changed. I only hope it ends up being worth it... |
