was cut up inside that i missed the likes of Graham, Lavelle and Morillo, as i spent my time from 11 until about 6 in vodafone arena rocking to some ing awesome tunes in an unreal atmosphere
Armin and shultz rocked it imo, and i dont regret for a second my choice of venues for the night, but would have LOVED to see graham etc aswell.
Melbourne needs an event somewhere like the MCG where its one stage and 50,000 people going off not dissimilar to sensation in Amsterdam
Now that would be a ing event
Sadly there are many reasons why that is unlikely to ever happen, but oh well, i can dream..... |
even if that was to happen, it would probably be headlined by cheesedicks line armand van helden, roger sancgez etc etc, and local support from TV CROCK and VANDALISM |

Lol a valid point
and even if they werent there you would still get your cheesy house names around, guess ill just have to head to amsterdam for sensation in order to get my dream |

Hey mang,
the tune after summerdream is called: Narthex - Bully
Narthex is an alias for Airbase. Jezper said the release is due for Mid march, but the tune on the flip is even more killer. He was kind enough to give me a sample, and it is an uplifting mega trance tune!!!!!
Its "John O'callaghan and Kearney - Restricted Motion (Airbase Mix)"
get on it. :) |
Correction mr djb :)
the track is known as -
Airbase pres. Parc - Bully
:) |

Why put Max Graham , Lavelle etc in that dodgy small prog GU room and give whole Rod Laver to House morons. Thanks God Vodafone is still ours but you never know Future might decide to bring Scooter and Dj Sammy next year! That will be the day....
Now my review: Rocked up in Vodafone at 11(when the doors opened 1 hour late) Saw most of Steves set and headed down to hardware room and greeted by tachyon and some other TA (sorry dude didn't get your name right) then visited the GU room but instead of listening or paying atention to the DJ perved on that girl who was dancing amazingly good :wtf: :eyes: not seen like that for a long time...
Then headed down to Vodafone found a DJ spinning some uninteresting tracks and asked Philby who was the DJ and he told me it was Marcus Shulz. Patiently waited for him to show his talent and OMFG it was worth the wait. Second half of his set was an absolute gem. A big thums up for the dude from Miami.....
Well Armin was Armin, what do you expect? Second to none (maybe Tiesto)
By the way was it me or the sound system till Marcus Schulz's second half was a bit ty. I think I heard some clipping from the saturated amps whenever the bass was hitting hard... |

yeah i heard a bit of distortion etc...was a bit dissapointing, but shulztys overall talent shone through in the end, he could have played his set through computer speakers and i would have been rocking on the desk
heh
ps awesome work on the tracklist, im surprised you people can remember the order tracks were played, i jst remember the monsters, with no sense of order at all, heh ah well |

We've got some piccies here too, when I get some time i'll post a few up. And some movies.
I had a great time! I really have been out of the trance scene recently so only knew like one in five tracks but it was awesome nonetheless.
