| I worked long hours at a Bar; usually to the early hours of the morning. All my friends used to rock up & Id hate serving them drinks & not be drinking with them. I still had a good time though. The boss would get really frustrated because id spend too much time "chatting to the customers!" haha. My brother & his mates used to come in alot too. My brother used to hassle me out & try & get free beer out of me. I didnt care & usually poured him some freebes anyhow. So one night the bar manager catches me & gives me a lecture. The next weekend I got caught again & recieved my last warning. Not long after I got caught again & I got fired on the spot. I was like "SWEET!". I jumped the bar & started drinking with my bro. We got really hammered that night |

My last job in the US I gave something like a month or two notice that I was quitting and everything was well organized on my part to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible ( a lot of my responsabilities were going to be shifted to someone else of which had never done my tasks before ). The last weeks there I actually worked the hardest the whole time I was there I trained about 20 employees on different things including the person who was going to take my place in the future.
Anyhow it was all good until 2 or 3 days before my departure.
The vice-boss ( the son of the boss who is 35 or so was slowly gaining control of the company ) of the place emptied out all the fridges.
The son of a beotch also put post its around with frowning faces :( as to make fun of us ( that I'm not 100 % sure about ).
The guy basically acted like a cOck
Here's the draft of the letter I sent him the days before leaving ( so this wasn't the actual finished letter ) and I never got to discuss matters with him but here goes :

In most recent months we have gone through numerous changes some in untimely fashion beyond the companies control and others due to serious lack of realism in management.
On too many occasions have I seen problems not being solved, but simply being erased with quick fixes.
At this particular stage there are many details I would love to discuss but I will try to keep this brief as to make my point clear.
YES, I am capable of reading signs that state " Everything must be cleared out of the fridge every evening at 8 pm " but first of all the most appropriate thing would have been to have an email sent to all employees notifying of changes;
The emptying of the fridge in itself was not a fix but an erasure of the problem as the way most problems here tend to be solved!?
The problem had been ongoing, nothing was done, not even a weekly cleanup, so treating
it the way you did was just a cover up.
I would also like to point out the childish immature and silly attitude of seeing a microwave being removed and replaced with a sign saying Use it Clean LOST IT with a Frowning face. If that was not your own work I am sorry for believing it was; but if it is, I can only emphasize on how embarrassing it must be to act in such an egotistic and insulting matter. That is clear taunting of employees and certainly not a way to treat ANYONE and truly unacceptable.
I would like to point out the fact that the other microwave has previously caught on fire.
From my first days here I have only seen communication or lack of being the foundation of everything we are doing.
I cannot help but point out the hypocrisy of the statement that the health department could potentially get involved due to the unsanitary conditions. Is this building itself even fire safe? I am no expert in fire code and regulations but I clearly believe this place is unsafe in regards to electrical norms, fire exits as well as occupancy rate.

| lol ok, I didnt snap like harm everyone but I told the Jehovah's witness to off and I told my boss to shut up. I also broke the dumpster door punching it, but I don't think my boss saw that one. |

Glad you "don't take no jive" and quit. HaVe done that a few times in my storied past in BS jobs. My current employer is pushing the limit with me on trying to steal my intellectual property and they realize I'm a high-end and underpaid employee. Prob is, if they push me one step too far, I give them two weeks notice and f*cking quit. Then the next week they would be forced to hire me back as a contractor at a significantly higher wage because I am the godfather of mission critical programming and software in the organization. If they don't do that, then they can sue at will, but still not get my to run the organization in the lengthy meantime during probate. Love it when you got it on them. Don't love it when I worked all weekend on my time and after work last programming until midnight....

| I admire that. I couldn't just quit my job like that. I don't really have any expenses outside of going out and stuff since I don't pay rent or any other bills for that matter. But I still like to enjoy my time going out and stuff so I need the income I'm getting though I don't like my job too much. |
