| So how do i write a 2 weeks notice about quiting current job and moving to a better/next job? I hate looking/doing phone interviews for another job while on the current job :( |

I just moved out on my own again and this is a stupid and reckless decision. I should really stay at this job, and I may talk to my boss Thursday about staying on, but I desperately need to get out of that place. It's indescribable what it does to my self, yet I'm guessing that all of you know exactly what I'm talking about.
I keep thinking that this is such a dumb decision. Theres a scene in Office Space where Jennifer Anniston's character is like, "we all hate our jobs, but we go and do it anyways..." and I feel like, ok, I hate the place, but it is a job and it keeps me with a place to live and a way to pay the bills. I should have also been spending the last 6 months looking for a job, but I've squandered it because I'm comfortable where I am, even though I am capable of more. This could be a catalyst to something better but it could also be a very bad precipice that s up my life. I'm just so out of wack and out of control and I'm trying to stabalize things, but it just feels like everything is getting worse and worse and no matter what decisions I make or actions I take i just cant get a grip on the chaos that is my life.
I definitely let my emotions get the best of me today at work, and now I've forced myself into a place where I have to make a pretty uncomfortable decision. I'm mad at myself for letting it get to this point without the proverbial exit strategy. |

Never get fired, always quit. That's my motto anyhow.... And dont' let management fool you if a supervisor with a couple other obscure dudes show up for a "meeting". If you walk into one of those, then immediately state you quit, period. Don't ever give them the enjoyment of a firing. Lessons learned in the big pics of life....
