oh, myra- i dont consider myself an expert at travelling but i do recommend a few things.
1> make copies of everything that's important for your travel: passport, credit/debit cards, license/id's, airplane tickets.
2>take two wallets: one credit card in each, some money in each, one atm in one wallet, one debit card in the other, etc. only carry one wallet and lock the other in ur luggage.

edit: greek men are much more forward than men from other western countries so prepare to get ur ass grabbed if u're in a club and possibly even a lil harrassment. it pays to go to clubs with a guy or two or your arm.

thanks dani! :) any info i can get about traveling overseas is beneficial to me. all of my travelling has been within the US where if things go wrong, it's easy enough to fix. there's a lot of stuff i have to think about in order to make sure i'm prepared for this trip!
another question... what's the best/cheapest way to make phone calls to the US? should i just get a calling card and use my hotel phone? |

me neither, but for my first trip to Europe i can't say it's a bad thing. not to mention the trip is a gift from my mom... i definitely plan on visiting Europe again (Amsterdam with DJ RJT ftw!!) without an itinerary. |

never, ever ever use the hotel phone unless you really hate your money :)

Some peoples cels dont have international roaming or gsm.. all depends on your provider, you should maybe make them give you roaming for your trip.. |
