I like to make some up and get them to hang up. Olan Mills is this huge photography chain and they called my number trying to get ahold of the family that used to live here.
Representitive : So, Mr Johnson, if you and your family come in for an annual portrait, well do an extended session for 10% off our regular price. Thats half an hour extra with as many photos as we can snap.
Me: Oh. Umm, we don't really get our photos taken much since the fire.
Representitive: Oh....

Before that, I would usually tell them to "hold on for a minute" and just leave the phone. I figured that the more time they spent waiting for me to come back, the fewer people they'd be able to annoy that day. |

they always call my house from longdistance.
so the last time they called i was like 'no sorry he isn't in right now'
"whens the best time to call back then?"
"may i ask who's calling?"
"uh..dr. gordon" or somthing, i loled. |

| Its obvious its a telemarketer when they call. So you just tell them to hold on & you will get the person they want. Just leave the phone there for about 10 min & check to see if they are waiting. |

im stupid for even answering the phone.
previously i had 56k, and never signed off, so the phone line was always busy. now with the dsl, they can call. everyone in this household has a cell phone which is much easier to give one number out than give two.
my dad gets red-faced everytime they call, and actually tries to tell them he's not interesting. he doesnt get that he can just hang up the damn phone. |

| When you know its a telemarketer calling just answer & talk jibberish or talk in some bs language, they normally ate like wtf & hang up. |
