i tried to ping the site, but i can't seem to switch the command prompt into c:\...
and that other site doesn't work hehe... |

Keep your computer on at home and do a remote desktop connection.
Thats a simple fix. I do it the reverse way... I log onto my work PC from home b/c I have so many toys that I dont have on here. |

you don't have to change the directory.
just type ping "x" at whatever directory they start you in. |

Even better:
Use whatever you want, but leave your corporate e-mail or whatever you're "supposed" to be doing open maximized in the background. Keep your mouse hovered over the program in the background. When someone's coming, just click. Voila, the program is maximized and you're a good little peon. |
