Youd be surprised. They successfully stifiled the rave community with the same line of thinking only that time the scare factor was drugs.

what his criminal record?

i knew some djs who are denied access to canada b/c of criminal records. while i don't like it, if that gives us legal grounds to deny someone, then good. deny him.

The whole idea behind it though is disturbing.

"we don't like what you have to say so we will use every loophole and trick in the book to prevent you from doing so"

It's just not right. If you refuse 50 cent then we must refuse everyone with a criminal record similar to his.

I think Canadian gov and Fiddy should work together on the gun violennce issue. There should be some press conference where fiddy should say that this is all entertainment and just a music and a movie. Fiddy should deleiver message to "fiddy listenning" community to stop the gun violence. I don't think banning him would decrease the violence, there are 100 bucks worth of fiddy's (200) all over TV.

sorry to be cynical, but...

Short odds says there'll be a shooting at the show.

In the meantime, the Canadian gov't gladly let him FILM HIS MOVIE HERE IN TORONTO!!!! 'Yeah, thanks for the millions you brought to our film industry, but now you're not welcome'.
