XM or Sirius?

SIRIUS:

Area 33 - Trance and progressive house.
Chill - Downtempo electronica.
The Strobe - The sounds of classic dance.

XM:

The Move - House / progressive
BPM - Dance Hits
The System - Electronica / Trance
Chrome - Disco / Classic Dance

So basically, Sirius has 3 electronica stations and XM has 4. Only XM has a dedicated trance channel; Sirius shares one with progressive house. XM has a dedicated house channel for that. And a dedicated "dance hits" channel. Sirius has neither. They do have the downtempo channel though, so that's a bonus for when you're driving home, exhausted late at night. Plus they've got Radio 1. Hmm, not an easy choice. I think XM looks better though. Because on Sirius, i'd rarely ever listen to Chill or The Strobe. Area 33 would be playing ty (IMO) progressive house half the time, so all things added up, i'd only really listen to 1/6 the programming on the Sirius electronica channels. XM, on the other hand, has The Move, 1/2 of which i'd listen to. BPM, all of which i'd listen to. The System, all of which i'd listen to. I'd enjoy close to 75% of the programming on the XM channels. Plus, for when i get bored with electronica, they have more hiphop channels, more comedy channels, more latin challens and a reggae channel.

I wish Sirius would display their channel lineup on their website FFS. This puts them behind the game already.

Not sure if this comment is true or just a ploy to keep Canadian business in Canada:

Nor will equipment made in the United States work in Canada.

I thought many Canadian's have bought units & subscriptions in the US b4? Just as long as u have a US billing address u can use.... If that comment has any truth to it, that would mean Americans crossing the border would suddenly lose reception, which I doubt really happens in real life.
edit: I guess it means that u can't buy a unit in the US and expect to get the Canadian service.

Just too bad that Sirius Canada didn't sign on Howard Stern...

Hopefully Sirius Canada also has BBC Radio 1, like Sirius US does. Whoever has Radio 1 wins in my books! I really like the Sirius US programming.

PIONEER DEH-P80MP. About $575 (all incl.) at Future Shop, or $380 (all incl.) on eBay. I HIGHLY recommend eBay, for obvious reasons :)

Um, it's all on there, and far easier to find than on XM's site.
