OMG I can't believe it....I have to side with Vivid on this one.
My first car was a 93 Pontiac SunBird....that car made so many trips to thunder bay.....I loved that thing....still have a picture of it....probably my most reliable vehicle. |

Oh, so everyone doing something makes it okay to not be able to criticize it? And of course, you've done it, well that means it must be perfectly fine, because, you know, you are a god and all.
And i'm very glad she's happy for her bro. But the fact is, this is a public forum, which means this topic would fare much better in this unheard of thing called the telephone conversation or even an MSN conversation. You make it out to be like nothing good ever happens to any of the members of TA. It does. Except they call their friends and talk about it. This just adds clutter to the forums in general.
A thread entitled "my bro just bought a car" does not start a good discussion on first cars. A thread entitled "What was your first car?" does. Hell, if the original post somewhere asked "so what are/were everyone's first cars", I would have been perfectly happy. At least then the first post talking about his/her first car wouldn't have been post #32.
Kelly, don't take it personally. I can GUARANTEE you if Niveole was in your shoes, he'd get the same reply from me. Actually, he'd probably get it worse because he's my friend and I would have known I could get away with much more. |
