Different countries, different laws. Guess what happens if you steal in Saudi Arabia? They cut your hand off. Why don't you raise fire and brimstone over that as well?

break the rules, pay the price.

He knew the rules, and he broke them, and if he didnt, he could have easily found them out and the consequences.

He got what he deserved.

Well, that's because it's the only thing that's ed up about Saudi Arabia. Everything else is just peachy-keen-o there. I'll use CORe favorite phrase: "GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC". :p

I'm not defending the law, but the law was in place. He broke the law. He should be punished.

And if you ever go to signapore, youd see a very advanced, smoothly run, society.. really is a marvel.

If you dont like the laws, don't go. Its your choice, it's that simple.

I suggest you rent "murder in the first" - tells a marvelous (true) story about law being in place.

That's not a C0r phrase. b.s.e. just used that once in his "ask b.s.e." thread.

complete story here:

What a ing throw-back dark age hole! There's no crime, short of murder, rape or other violent crime that deserves such punishment. Let alone such brutal ing execution BY HANGING!

GAPORE: YOU! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS HELL HOLE FOR AS LONG AS I SHALL LIVE!

As everyone is saying....

If you choose to walk around with a ing pound of drugs (normally sold in less than a gram??) Then it shouldnt be a shock that this happens. Simple shock and awe. Would you want to be caught with drugs there?? no. Plan complete.

Good point, you can't just assume other countries will bend their laws and statutes just to please you.. likewise you can't have foreigners coming to your country and doing something wrong and not expect to get punished for it just because they wouldn't have gotten punished for it in their own country.

unless they're diplomats. Then they can get away with anything.
