| WOW! I had a blast dancing to Ferry's and A&B's set. I don't normally do Avalon on a Saturday but decided to make an exception for this night, perfect timing considering Spundae's line-up. |

I had a great time last night. I won't even try to list all the TAs I saw! The dance floor was uber-packed but my friends Cozmik Twins were good at clearing space for us by swinging their dreads and mohawk :tongue2
Above and Beyond was definitely better than Ferry but I have to admit I wasn't blown away by either. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for "happy" trance or maybe the dark side is starting to call me too....:eek: We danced upstairs at the patio for a while but the girl spinning there wasn't consistent and didn't have a flow to her set so we went back downstairs. I made myself leave around 6am because my voice was pretty much gone (been sick since Wednesday) but it was still too late because today I can barely speak :(

wasnt feeling ferry tonight. randy, curly, and i sat on the upper decks watching the show like a concert. when AB came on, i went down and pretty much got loose. i think jono likes our anjunabeats shirt. he gave me a signed AIR FOR LIFE cd. cool guy. tracks i remember not in order:

Now for my Review:
Kris and I get to Avalon a little after 10pm and get in Line with Robert, Sarah, Carrie, Julie, Alana, Crystal and a few other TA's.
Dorrs where going to open at 10:30. But Typical Avalon and Typical Band before the show we did not get in untill after 11! Standing in the freezing cold that long is not Fun!
Once inside Mark Taberner is on and I do know know what the hell he was doing. But I agee with Sarah. He is the WORST Dj! He went from playing top 40's- usher- some wierd - what sounded like Drum and Bass. Now who in the hell plays Hip-hop on an EDM night! Everyone around me had this:wtf: look on their face. The dance floor cleared and no one was into it.
At 11:30ish I got get my spot in front . And wait and wait and... I was with Crystal, Sarah, Julie and Robert at the time. Rukes came over and talked to Crystal and told us that Ferry was on the side. So we go over there and we say hello and I hand Ferry the Birtday present Kris and I go from him. and thanked him for the list and went back to waiting in front :mad: While we where there we started the "Ferry" Chant to who ever know who we where really there for. Each chant got louder.
At little after 12p and it is fially Ferry!!!! WHOOO HOOOO! I hold up the Happy Birtday sign for him to see and turned it over to the I *Heart* Ferry side. :D After I did that I took out the hearts and handed some of them out.
Ferry played an amazing set! He doped some sick sick beats! Some of the bass lines shook your whole body on that sound system.

His set was a lot diffent then in SD. His L.E.F mode was in full effect at avalon. My Feet where starting and I could not feel my legs!
Then Above and Beyond get on and the first Track was Air for Life!!! OMG:eyespop: AMAZING!!! It was good to see all 3 in action as well. They where so in to the growd.
Above and Beyond also killed it.
However Lary Mts 54 and S.0.S realllllly need to leave every DJ's CD case! I know they get good crowd reaction but they have been over played (imo)
I was lucky enough to get on stage during above and Beyonds set. It was awsome to see how packed avlon was!! The hard core TA's where in the front as always.
I missed the last part of A&B's set since I went up stairs to the Padio and get this... Ferry Spun again!:eyespop: When he got on the Decks some guy asked me if this guy was any good. I had to LOL since well Duh it is Ferry he is the best!:haha: When Ferry was up there Steve Crapo with his ego trip had to get on the mixer as well and F-things up. Ferry was about to play a remix of Fire and Crapo turned it down a few times :wtf: Oh well it was still awsome to see Ferry up there.
What a :crazy: Night! All though I had an amazing time the Crowd at Avalon was at its all time low! So many people pushed there way past me with No Excuse me's or sorrys, Tall guys got in front of me so they where in my way. FOB laundy matt was in full spin. Swaying left and right with no care in the world. The Penis in the ass dance I had to push and tell a guy to get the Fcuk away! Then there was this chick who decided to take her jacket of and spin it around above her head! WTF! She even took the heart out of my hand! There was also Mr. Chatter mouth who wanted talk about the music and Ferry's set with me GRRR GRRR GRRR!! (stfu)
My line was all most crossed a lot and I think I was rude to some of my friends :( I feel really bad about that but I had no idea who was toching me.
It was realllly hard to get into the music as well. But that was I there for so I did my best to focus on that.
Oh ya I agree with Sarah about the Go-go dancers! ICK!
Oh ya Sarah- Ferry realllly wanted to play rock your body for you last night but he looked in his case 4-5 times and did not find it. He was hopeing you would not hate him for that.
