Ferry played a 3.5-hour set, starting at 00:36 with some recent tunes for the first hour:

The last hour and a half consisted of non-melodic tracks, including that "you better watch out" one that everyone is talking about :eek: and Martin Roth - Shockwaves (Technopunk remix). You get the idea... I had more fun concentrating on my Sudoku! :wtf:
He closed with his recent version of an all-time favorite for several of us:

Ferry was awesome!!!!!! The best part of the night was when he played Kai Tracid - Conscious (FC Mix), goddamn I love that song and I went crazy when it came on. The Shattered bootleg and Synaesthesia was awesome, too. I was totally digging his sound especially towards the end with his techy-ness (Cubikated!!). I havent really listened to trance for a while now but Ferry is definitely worth seeing again.
The opening dj was definitely the worst dj Ive ever heard, playing some Gorillaz remix and then Usher with the worst transitions, it was just terrible. And those girls, wtf sausage legs??? :whip: If youre gonna have some girls dancing in front of that many people make sure they wont gross everyone out.
As for A&B, I wasnt really feeling it at first but by the time we left at 5, it was better. Larry mounts 54 was stuck in my head the entire way home. I understand they are a big thing and have a large fan base but what was with the jesus pose right from the start? That was odd to me.
Anyways, it was nice to meet all the TAs finally: curly, thrax, arfboy, hotdogwater, boomer, bas, neinerlove and tons more I cant remember. |

It was a great night engulfing everything Avalon in LA offered. It was a great experience clubbin at a new club - new people, a different vibe vs. NY
Ferry showed lots of energy to the crowd through his music, so I thought he was great. Nice selection of tracks as usual.
I had to leave @ 5am to catch a flight back home - so stayed long enough to see AB perform.
It was the first time I got to see AB perform and they're great!!
Took some great shots of the night. :]
