I think it was actually Tony talking. I was the one trying to get a picture when he said it. :D
Funniest moment of the night: finding Thrax fast asleep in the middle of a bajillion washers. :haha:

This turned into a great night at about 12:35 when Ferry finally came on. It would be nice if Avalon could actually do what they say and hire some nice people to work there. Other than that, they do have the best sound system in LA.
Ferry was definately in a great state of mind. His energy immidiately lifted the place and made all the difference. I really enjoyed his set, he played his favorites and some stuff I haven't heard before. All in all, I knew I made a good choice seeing him in San Diego and Avalon. His LEF mode is harder and I like it. As, my motto goes.. If Ferry is within 6 hours distance, I will be there. Never ever dissapoints and he is amazing to be around, just a great energy.
Above & Beyond, wow what a show. All three of them taking turns on the decks playing great tracks. Never stopped dancing, somehow I end up on stage and I am thinking I must really be dreaming ( I am chatting with Ferry and dancing to Above & Beyond who is like 5 feet from me ) Amazing night!!
Ferry goes off the stage and goes through the crowd and takes pictures, signs autographs, smiling the whole time. He was definately enjoying his birthday. he dissapeared and I later found out he went upstairs to the patio ( Thanks Kris! ) So, I head up there and he starts spinning again. It's like 6:15am.. He was laying down some nice tracks and Steve-o buff dj man, thought he would mess with Ferry and screwed up his set, Ferry was a good sport and played back. It was all good, although I would of loved to see him just let Ferry do his thing!
7am hits and it was like allt he bouncers haven't gotten laid in months, kicking everyone out, even using physical force to have people leave. Ferry wanted to hang and take pictures and sign autographs, but they would let that happen! Unbelievable is all I go to say. No wonder people form other countries don't like Americans.
Special thanks to Sweetcandy for making my night extra special! It wouldn't of been the same without you there.
To all the TA's, you guys rock. I can't believe how many of us there was. |

| ferry played my jam....CUBIKATED. oh man that song destroys me everytime. LOL. i thought Above & Beyond brought the energy level up a few notches once they came on. I only stayed for the first hour of their set. Ferry rocked it as usual but I was just too damn tired from working all day. I am sad I missed Ferry playing upstairs on the patio. WTF. y'all shoulda text messaged me or something. I had fun chillin with my homeboys Kfrogger, Arfboy, Junior Chavez, Protege, and all my other peeps too (DJ Woody, Gypsygirl, Hotdogwater, Thrax...). I feel a different vibe from certain TA's and I don't think they are as cool as they used to be. I won't mention any names tho...but lets just say I havent mentioned them in this post. Simon and Randy are two in funny ass dudes and I love em. Opening DJ was the worst DJ I have ever seen in my f'n life. whore-ible. and the go-go dancers...i would have preferred to see boomer dancing up there in a thong. LOL. |
