Oh yeah. You see, I wouldn't know anything about that since I must be another one of those 16-year old mp3 kids.

That's the best attitude to have, seriously. Can I not criticize a movie because I'm not a director? Or a book because I'm not an author? s sake.

Seriously, dude, I suggest you reread this thread slowly and without emotion.

Then, post up an apology.

Just cus u have a pair of decks and the ability to beatmatch, doesnt make you a dj.
Playing in your basement or rocking ur dads work party, doesnt make you a dj.

regardless of your definition, hearing your essential mix already proved how good of a dj you are

stick to producing

Cleary you have no clue, you shouldnt try to impress others by being an elitist, you probably hate Tiesto too eh ?

But producing 20 similar tracks of your own and playing them all in a 2-hour set does? :o

I can't say your tracks have ever amazed me or left me in awe first time I heard them. But the first time I heard Haak's remix of Lost Sequence, my jaw dropped onto the floor. And Haak's a great DJ as well, so I suggest you abandon your idea that Haak's a silly kid that has no clue what he's talking about. Because he actually has more of a clue than you do, I think...

I'm sorry that I ever took the time to read through this thread... :(

The TA forums have been just a fantastic venue for producers. whose music I really enjoy, to completely alienate myself among many of their other fans with their "You aren't big in the business, your opinion doesn't count" attitudes...

Why is it, that it seems the vast majority of successful producers who end up on TA end up, at one point or another, in a thread that seems to follow the stock formula:

1. Criticism
2. Producer Defense
3. More criticism (Possible Flaming)
4. Angry producer lashing out, making mindless, and insulting comments to both their fans, and the DJ's buying their records (Not to mention playing them).
5. Battle of the TA's vs. said Producer & TA "Allies"
6. Producer: " you guys, I quit TA!"

Every time...

I like your music Steve, I really do, but your responses in this thread have been questionable at best... I'm glad to see that the attitude of some of the bigger producers out there towards up and coming/bedroom DJ's who truly LOVE what they do is so sketchy... You were there once too Mr. Angello, you weren't always running a "HUGE" company, and at one point I'm sure the "hundreds" of dollars you'd get from any track were quite welcome...

Enjoy your shoes, I'm sure they're quite nice...
