Job dilemma conflicting with WMC...

My stupid fcuking job has this policy that no one is allowed to take their vacation from January - April (I work in Accounting) ... that raises a HUGE problem considering that WMC is in March & that would be when I take my vacation time...
I've been with them a year...if they say that I can't do it, I'm planning to quit & still get my vacation pay.
What do you guys think? |

| I think thats wrong especially having being with them a year, you should be able to take you holidays whenever you choose. |

dont quit ur job...jeez.
i would at least try to come up with a good plan to get the time off first. make up something about plans that you've had for a very long time and cannot get out of. a family wedding that you're IN is always a good one. just say you are the maid of honor in your cousin's wedding in california. there's no getting out of that you know? |

that's exactly what I was thinking! I'm sure they will, they're not huge a-holes here.
but if all else fails, I'm looking for another job...besides I want more money. :toothless |

fallingMoon didn't i see you at Manny's party??? well anyways, i definitely feel you about the wmc thing. I've already told my boss that nobody dare take March for vacation, only me!!! IF you like your job don't quit it. Although i'd be thinking about quiting if my job interfered with wmc. Anyways, i don't want you to miss out on wmc conference, if your job doesn't budge and give the the time, Quit that !!! |
