So mr Ahmadinejad did it again today...

Iranian leader denies Holocaust
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has courted further controversy by explicitly calling the Nazi Holocaust of European Jewry a "myth".

"They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets," he said.

On live TV, he called for Europe or North America - even Alaska - to host a Jewish state, not the Middle East.

Israel swiftly denounced the president's comments.

"We hope these extremist comments... will make the international community open its eyes and abandon any illusions about this regime," foreign ministry spokesman Mark Regev told AFP news agency.

Mr Ahmadinejad's latest declaration echoes comments he made last week, in which he said territory should be "provided" in Germany or Austria to establish Israel "if European countries claim that they have killed Jews in World War II".

The president sparked international outrage in October when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map".

'Europe's fault'

Speaking to thousands of people in the south-eastern city of Zahedan, Mr Ahmadinejad brushed aside criticism of his views, saying it was orchestrated by supporters of Israel.

"If someone were to deny the existence of God... or prophets and religion, they would not bother him.

"However, if someone were to deny the myth of the Jews' massacre, all the Zionist mouthpieces and the governments subservient to the Zionists tear their larynxes and scream against the person as much as they can," he said.

He returned to his earlier theme that Europe should shoulder the responsibility for a Jewish state.

"If you [Europeans] committed this big crime, then why should the oppressed Palestinian nation pay the price?

"This is our proposal: give a part of your own land in Europe, the US, Canada or Alaska to them so that the Jews can establish their country," he said.

Since his election in June 2005, Mr Ahmadinejad has taken a more hardline stance towards Israel in public than his predecessors, and has recently stepped up his anti-Israel rhetoric.

Israel's spokesman said the Iranian president's latest remarks reflected a "perverse vision of the world held by this regime".

BBC Tehran correspondent Frances Harrison says the Iranian press has endorsed the president's views, calling them logical and less passive than the approach of previous Iranian governments.

Condemnation

The foreign minister of Germany criticised Mr Ahmadinejad's remarks as "shocking and unacceptable" and warned they could influence negotiations with Iran over its nuclear programme.

"I cannot hide the fact that this weighs on bilateral relations and on the chances for the negotiation process," Frank-Walter Steinmeier said.

German officials are scheduled to meet their Iranian counterparts on 21 December for the next round of talks over Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Talks between Tehran and three European Union nations - Germany, France and the UK - have been deadlocked over Iran's renewed efforts to produce nuclear fuel.

The EU renewed its condemnation of Mr Ahmadinejad's position, saying it had no place in civilised political debate.

Yes you are right both Iran and North Korea will be defeated in weeks rather than years.

But you see the priorities have changed today. North Korea and Iran once in a war woudn't be trying to defends its boundaries and cities after seeing the state of Iraq. Instead they will try to inflict the maximum damage they can do to US and neighbouriing South Korea or Israel before they surrender. And that may trigger some nucler bombs if they have it. And one nucler bomb is all needed to trigger a World War.

Thats what I think NK/Iran will do if being invaded by US.

A world war between who?
Lepanto
in that thread where Ahmadinejad claimed to wanna wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, it was well established that Iran will do no such act. the pansy masterminds cannot do themselves and will therefore die for no cause. let them blow up NYC, LA, Washington...retaliation? the end of the muslim world in 3 minutes flat. and Israel has great defence capabilities against most conventional air strikes and ICBMs.

I think it can go like this:

US invades Iran, and North Korea openly pledges its support for Iran. Syria joins Iran in its struggle against US invasion.

Now North Korea drops a nuclear bomb over USA disguising itself to be Iran, or second possibility is China drops a nuclear bomb over US disguising itself to be North Korea.

US retaliates with massive hydrogen bombs being dropped over Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Palestine.

Pakitan drops Nuclear bombs on India and Israel.

North Korea drops Hydrogen bombs on South Korea.

And the world is destroyed. World War 3 ended before it bagan. World War 3 will be swift.

Oh my, what a likely and researched scenario

And so begins the propoganda movement to eventually endorse invasion of Iran.

PS: The US tossed japanese americans into concentration camps and outlawed political rallying against the war.

Every country does the same .

Lousy comparison!

The interning of Japanese-Americans on the west coast was certainly a black mark in U.S. history, but they were hardly made to do forced labor, and they certainly were NOT killed or subject to a plan of mass extermination!

Propaganda? So you're saying what exactly; That the U.S. put words in the Iranian Presidents big mouth?

I heard that Ahmadinejad wanted to move Israel to Europe in Iranian C-130 troop transports.

Ahmadinejad needs to be dealt with before his country is put into a war. This guy is clearly a stupid idiot and all that support his views are ignorant fools.
I seriously doubt that the majority of the Iranian people share his veiw points.

Quite possible

Impossible

No reason whatsoever for China to do that (also not possible as launch origin is tracable)

Palestine and Saudi Arabia?!?! WTF?!?!

quote:
Pakitan drops Nuclear bombs on India and Israel.

Now you've just lost the plot! What's Pakistan go to do with it?!?!

quote:
North Korea drops Hydrogen bombs on South Korea.

The only thing you've said that is a possible scenario, but would result in the elimination of the N Korean regime, so very unlikely

Or maybe not...

Putin Calls Russia Defender of Islamic World

Created: 12.12.2005 18:05 MSK (GMT +3), Updated: 11:43 MSK
MosNews

Russia is the most reliable partner of the Islamic world and most faithful defender of its interests, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in Chechnya’s capital Grozny. Putin unexpectedly visited the war-ravaged republic to speak in the local parliament that opened for its first sitting on Monday.

“Russia has always been the most faithful, reliable and consistent defender of the interests of the Islamic world. Russia has always been the best and most reliable partner and ally. By destroying Russia, these people (terrorists) destroy one of the main pillars of the Islamic world in the struggle for rights (of Islamic states) in the international arena, the struggle for their legitimate rights,” Putin was quoted by Itar —Tass as saying, drawing applause from Chechen parliamentarians.

“Those who are trying to defend these false (extremist) ideals, those who are used as cannon fodder, who plant a mine for ten dollars or shoot with automatic weapons either do not know or have forgotten this,” the president said.

“Those who organize such activity certainly do this deliberately, understanding what goals they want to achieve,” Putin went on to say.
The leaders of the main Islamic states understand this, he added.

“For this reason their representatives were present at the general voting in the referendum on the Constitution of the Chechen Republic, they were at the presidential elections; both the Organization of Islamic Conference and the League of Arab States, our colleagues and friends were present at the elections to the parliament.”

Putin said that “member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference have unanimously passed a decision that Russia will begin working as an observer on a permanent basis”.

“And we shall continue our activity within the framework of this organization. Quite recently a delegation of Russia’s Muslims has been to Mecca to discuss the problems of Muslim world development with their brothers. I repeat: Russia will pursue this policy,” the president added.

President Vladimir Putin paid a surprise morale-boosting visit to Chechnya Monday, flown into the war-wracked province by helicopter under tight security. Putin declared the turbulent region was on the road to peace.

Russia, a country with a total population of approximately 144 million, has 23 million Muslim residents representing 38 peoples, according to the Council of Muftis of Russia.
