i'm completely aware this is tranceaddict, but i dont think this is only a trance community even though it has trance in the name
lets be honest here, trance is cheese and too mainstream for the most part, i used to love trance but then i "found" out there is something called house and i found my true love
also lisa, i've seen marco v live about 3 times if not more and all those times i found him kinda boring (lots of trance :sadgreen: ) untill i dled his recent sets and i heard his tech side and i loved it
ps. would be amazing if someone has this set recorded |

I thought we where talking about house music in general.
Its more mainstream then trance.
I dont even know what tribal/progressive house music is.. but it sounds kinda slow.
Also if it sounds anything like regular house music.. then no thank you. |

i suggest you research what DDTT is (search funtion in this forum)
to anyone i offended, thats my personal preference and i stand by it, i just dont like trance, to all the newbies in the scene, i give you a few years until you convert to house or darker music cuz eventually everyone gets sick of it.
lets not argue about this issue now because i saw a topic in here before with 2 million replies and i dont wanna ruin this thread..
now i want to see more marco v reviews :tongue2 |

Pett...thanks...will look for it...is there a year, or was it just a one time thing.
Also...I don't have THAT many Marco V sets...but I'll pull out a list of the ones I do have. None of which I believe to be vocal trance. But since I don't have many of his sets...maybe that is why.
OH OH OH...one I KNOW I love that I can think of off the top of my head...his set at Mysteryland, I think it was back in 1999. He started off with Silerscreen and then went into ...what's the song called...it went "Big fish, little fish, swimming in the water...come back here and give me my daughter" It was AWESOME! |

I don't think that should officially count though. There was also a thread awhile back about someone not believeing it really existed b/c he went around during certain tracks asking ppl if it was DDTT and some people would agree while others would disgree. Though I'm sure there are MANY songs that ppl WILL agree on b/c it fits the category...there are also many that ppl are iffy about...and it could be a bit of this or a bit of that. As goes for pretty much all genres of music, in that songs can be debatable. Let's remind everyone DDTT IS just a term that RJ and Ray made up!
Also...I'm not even going to get into this site being TRANCEaddict...it's just gonna start causing bombs to blow up all over the place.

| its not that trance is bad its just house will always deliver the beats in a club.There are so many forms of house and pretty much only one is really mainstream.House is waaaay better to dance too. |
