i got to add one mre thing. the problem is u guys take this in scene bull way to in seriously. like its ur in life or something. who gives a . if a night is whack and has cracky ass people say it. who the gives a . the truth is the truth.
wow talk abt taking somethign that means absolutely all in life wayyyyy too seriously. ppl. its a in party scene, key word: PARTY. the thing abt partying in any scene is that it means, to chill back and have some fun with friends and have some fun while u forget abt the pressures and stress of ur "REAL" life for a bit. i think the problem is alot of u have ur in priorties in life all ed up.
and i love the elitist comments. hahahaha so in stupid.
some of u ppl honestly need to remove ur head from ur ass.
there i in said my piece. peace |

This is how it should have gone down if you all weren't so damn emo:
Nada: "ppl in gallery were XTRA MASHED UP"
Pat: "You're an idiot for saying that"
Nada: "Why don't you go and play hide-and-go--yourself"
And that's where it should have ended. |
Firstly..Cosmic, I never once called Nada an idiot. That is not something I would do and I have pm'd you to retract this.
Cosmic Fur...a noob does not mean your an idiot.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=noob
"1. A person online who is new and/or unfamiliar with the environment.
1a. A "newbie".
2. A person who acts like they know everything (see also, n00b).im super leet, noob.
A noob means just that...someone knew to the scene and has no clue of wheat thery are saying."
FYI when I started posting in forums I was called a noob. I never took it offensively bc I knew that I was a noob and had to start from there to move on. |

Now if this was the opening night at a stand-alone club than vicious comments could hold great bearing on the longevity - ARC for example - though a different clientele base - GAY people (which for the record they are the hardest to please with their bitchy posturing and attitudes and because it is very clickish not pleasing the so called "right people" and coddling them can kill a club in its infancy - trust me I have seen it aplenty over the last 5 years......) this is horrible and disgusting and 90% the reason why I don't bother with that scene (other 10% because the music is E! - well maybe more than 10% :)) - you thought TA was bad for DRAMA - WTF!!!! You have not seen compared to the cattiness and bull that eminates from their clubs on/in Church Street/Gay Village. Everyone is a ing "superstar" with their heads up their asses and Toronto GAYS have a terrible rap for being standoffish and rude.
DIVERSITY is wonderful and I look forward to the diverse crowds that will attend the Gallery in the future.
I can get my STRAIGHT on - my GAY on and my FREAK on - all in one spot and that's as Martha would say - A GOOD THING!!!
;) | Trust me, DC is the exact same, Toronto is not unique that way. Alot of people, including myself generally avoid the Gay Scene here because even though the music is often not that bad, we can't stand bitchy catty people tweaking on crystal because they don't feel good about themselves any other time, and can't be happy without it, and who will only talk to you if they wan't sex, and who most of the time are ugly. I think most self respecting gay people here, avoid that scene all together, and find other better ways to meet people. Recently I also accused a DC Trance fanatic at a non club party in being a bigot himself because he won't go to certain "non gay" EDM events because he said he didn't feel comfortable around straight people. I was like "society is diverse, live with it". |

First of all, it was the fist time @ the GUV in Toronto and I really want to thanks the Guv to be invite for a great night. 5-6 rooms with every kind of music. I was really impress when I entered the huge main room. The vibe of the crowd was amazing to see with Oliver on the desks preparing the crowd for Marco V set. It was pack! There is so much different between Montreal and Toronto Vibe. It was amazing!
Finaly, Marco played a really good set and we heard so much great tracks of him.
We really enjoy the night @ the Guv and hope everyone had a great night.
Hope I have the chance to come back to Toronto :) |

Being relatively new to the EDM scene, this was my third major event that I've gone to at the Guv. I had been looking forward to it since Rank 1 a month earlier (which was absolutely a-ma-zing!!:eyes: )
After listening to Marco V 200V and his Sensation White 2005 Set (again, absolutely amazing - I love that set!!:eyes::eyes: ), I was a little disappointed I didn't get to hear a few of my favourite tracks - Cafe del mar and C:\Del *.MP3
But either way, it was a GREAT time. The people, the music and the energy are just out of this world. And I loved watching Marco V rock out to his own stuff up there. Looked like he was having a great time too.
The pics and vids are awesome!
Looking forward to the next event and meeting more TAs.
Happy Holidays! |

Maybe next time you come back to TO, you can enjoy it from behind the decks :D
I still have yet to hear you...but reading the reviews on MTLTA and hearing what they have to say about you is only good things! ;)
Glad you enjoyed yourself Nick and hope to see you in the new year. |
