I personally can not fault anyone for wanting to come to this country. It's a great country over-all. But teh U.S. doesn't OWE anything to anyone in this world, so those who would complain about it being any more complicated to get in this country than simply walking across the border without at least checking in have no leg to stand on, imo.
South-Americans are great people. They bring a lot to the country. And whatever some don't pay in taxes is probably off-set by the severely reduced labor costs they provide to many industries.
And just to lighten the mood, here's a link to a Mexican-American comedian obout his own countrymen...(meant to be facetious)...enjoy;

The analogy with the Berlin Wall is true and false.
True as the establishment of the Berlin Wall followed upon significant migratory flows.
False as in Berlin it was about the same community of people which had been divided artificially. |

Aren't you guys talking about Mexicans? |

| There are a LOT of Nicaraguans, El Salvadorians, etc., coming up the same way...but I do mean Mexicans too. |

Okay, sure. We definitely have some Central Americans coming up as well - but I'm still kind of curious about those South Americans you were alluding to just a couple of posts ago. |

| Lepanto |
| Mancia is kinda stupid but the way he makes fun of Mexicans is priceless. |

Correction; I should have said "Central Americans"...my bad.
And yah, I don't think most of Mancia's routines are that funny, but that one wasn't too bad, lol. |

Damn. Is this the first steps towards a North American passport / super-state? :-S |
10 regions. This is one of them. The European and African Unions are the other two.
On differing nationalities crossing the borders:
This CFR Task Force in their report weren't specific about nationality but it was more specific about economics and the impact to it by the 9/11 attacks. Hence their recommendation for a "security perimeter" earlier in the year. |

Can't we just sink the hole that is Mexico? |
Haha. I wish you could explain that to the millions of Americans who cross the border every year to escape the draconian Puritanical laws of the US and enjoy alcohol at 16, prostitutes, unrestricted sex, and partying (Tijuana, Cancun, Cabo, ...).
Mexico is a godsend for American males of all ages, although college kids especially.
By the way Kush Paintings, is your approach to everything "let's sink this hole"? No wonder so many people around the world dislike Americans :( |

Yeah thats why so many of them end up arrested, ODed or with STDs. Great reasoning. People could give two s about Mexico. It's a horrible vacation spot. The Carribean is by far the best out of all the tropics. BTW, have you ever been to Mexico? The last thing you wanna do is openly look for drugs there ;)
Also, how is teenagers going there an argument for them coming here again? |

So just because I express a view contrary to yours you insult me and call me a "twat"? Wow, what an example of argumentative reasoning, you really do belong in the Political Discussion forum, ya know that?.Seriously, a great political future might be in the cards.
@Lepanto, not an argument, just a funny thing to mention. I think Americans need Mexico more than they realize, judging by the movie "The Real Cancun" LOL. |
