trance is toronto is knowed, but its usually when people hear it its like Darude or Alice Deejay and its the only chEEze trance they listen to...its a shame that a multicultured city like toronto, is so distracted low in musik wise, people only understand hip-hop, r&b, jungle...and u all know that jungle is actually bigger than any electronic musik in toronto...it seems that people where ever u past them, they just dont care or yes just give silly stupid looks...there isn't a lot of tranceaddicts here in toronto, but at least the 1's that are here, we can be something else, something different than everybody who we encounter, it makes us unique...were musik luvers not haters :) well at least i am :) even the clubs downtown, like system's soundbar who gather all of these amazing dj's in the past months like Nick Warren, John Creamer, Danny Howells, Ashley Cassels and Seb Fontaine, the crowds there were dead or just like "watever, im just here" and there was no vibe  i saw most of the videos from system's nights and it was just weird :eyes: as far im concerned, toronto club wise is back, even though we have nice clubs, the people are the major disadvantage

that was well put :) i'd have to agree that people are a major disadvantage nowadays, a lot of them are there for the image and other wrong reasons, and aren't too appreciative of some of the talent

Yeah, I gotta check that place out too... I am just hoping that the crowd is great too, otherwise there's no point of me being there, enjoying the music by myself on the dancefloor...

yeah man it sucks..u are considered an adult from the age of 18 and then u have to wait an extra year to be allowed in clubs and buy alcohol...wierd...

but at least we can buy at 19 unlike our southern neighbors who have most of the clubs for 21 and over cos of the alcohol policy

i think, for the most part anyway, that trance is frowned upon accross most of southern ortario. not to mention the country...or even north america. people constantly give me looks when they find out that i listen to tiesto, or van dyk or whoever... thats what makes online communities like this so great. trance lovers like us can come together and share our love of the music. oh and another thing, the only time i EVER turn down my music is when my ears start to bleed.... which is never.

I mean just look at all the talent we've brought in last year! Damnz...Mauro, Pvd (twice), Tiesto, Avb, Nick Warren, Tall Paul, etc etc etc. But I do see where you guys are comin from, go check out Viva, music is decent, crowd wise, eh...not too much variety...you'll know when you get there (so go with a huge crowd of friendz like I did w Desidel and it'll kick ass regardless). And ALWAYZ blast the tunez full...I get ppl starin at me all the time when I'm listenin to Pvd loud and bobbin ma head up n down, do I give a ? No.:) I mean what good is the music if you can't enjoy it and have to keep it at a level where it keeps you from going crazy to it?? :)
Later,

Chris.
P.S. See you all at Ferry an Avb! :D
